Gobert is an unbelievable defender. He completely took away the Jokic-Gordon action.

  2. homefree122

Naz Reid going on a heater scoring 14 points in the 4th quarter to help steal game 1 is absolutely wild. What a spectacular season for him.

  3. COTEReader

I can’t believe I thought experience would be an issue for the wolves. Ant is different

  4. TheAerial

I know we shouldn’t be surprised given why they just did to Phoenix but man did this feel like a statement game from Minnesota.

Open up this series with a big time win vs a Denver team that has looked unstoppable the last two years.

This is going to be a ridiculously fun series.

  5. trident001

ive seen enough, drake isnt the only one hiding a kid

  6. Kyler1313

    Jamal Murray takeover: I sleep

Naz Reid takeover to steal homecourt: Real Shit

  7. Anthony Edwards was the best player of the floor when sharing it with Jokic. Wolves up 1-0 in the series.

  8. AbysmalParty

This is the next generation of basketball. Like Charles Barkley said “them young boys coming”

  9. DirkNowitzkisWife

This series is obviously far from over. But, for the wolves to come out swinging on the road, and take the lead in Denver is a statement. Edwards was the best player on the floor, Naz Reid was great, and Jokic struggled offensively relative to his usual standards. The rest of this series is going to be outstanding.

  10. UTRAnoPunchline

Nuggets Dynasty is no longer loading as quickly.

  11. Lvl1_Mimikyu

WTF was this game! It was like watching a finals game. Ant is a beast jfc.

  12. SpasmicChicken

Its pretty special that both me and my dad got to watch Michael Jordan play in his prime

  13. Teh-Dehstroyer

#WHO WILL BE THE NEXT FACE OF THE LEAGUE?

…AND WHY IS IT ANTHONY EDWARDS?

  14. meengine

The game is in good hands. Ant is fucking legit.

  15. can somebody kindly point me in the right direction for the post game referee discussion thread?

  16. SquimJim

    Story of the game:

    – AntHIMy Edwards
    – Rudy Make Your Offense Gobrrr
    – Naz “Naz Reid” Reid

  17. KingdomHeartsII

We are so fucking lucky that we’re witnessing Anthony Edwards’ rise to stardom just as Lebron’s career is about to be over

  18. DjLionOrder

Ant is a superstar. Holy fuck. Best player on the floor that had a two time, likely three time, MVP.

  19. SaltyLonghorn

I’m just here to shit on the Gobert trade. Timely?

  20. Captaincoolbeans

This team is so damn frustrating, we look like we don’t care while Ant cooks us all night. If we keep playing like this we have no shot of beating the Wolves. They have that dawg in them, GG.

  21. ihateeuge

Denver did you just let Ant get a full court dagger layup? lmao

  22. k_____dot

Preface: only game 1, but Minnesota is looking really strong. Gobert played tremendous defense all game. Jokic still got his but had to work hard. Gobert pretty much shut down anyone else that came at him

Naz Reid incredible 14 pt 4th quarter with KAT in foul trouble.

Ant-Man is incredibly composed and the most electric player to watch. Has a great sense to take over the game when it gets nervy down the stretch

Denver needs to wake tf up to start these games. Was fine last round but won’t fly against Minnesota

  23. MarduRusher

I’ve seen enough. The wolves are winning the title.

  24. immortalis

this team is something else, i can’t believe it.

  25. TrumpKanye69

Does Anthony Edwards surpass Kevin Garnett, Kevin Love and Andrew Wiggins in the all time Timberwolves standings if he wins them a ring?

  26. BushidoBrowneII

    NEW ERA CONFIRMED

    Anthony Edwards is the future

The Timberwolves are a defensive juggernaut

Rudy Gobert DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

    NAZ REID

  27. ChrisIsDaBomb17

Hmmm, so the key to beating the Nuggets is having a generational star, a 4x DPOY, & Naz Reid. I’ll text Pelinka rn

  28. manbeqrpig

It’s simple, Minnesota has decent answers for our best players. We have no answers for theirs. Minnesota is just as talented and has the matchup advantage

    22

    He’s 22 years old

MJ didn’t make the playoffs until 22

He won 1 game that year.

    Then got swept.

    Then got swept.

Then at Twenty Five won his first series, taking it to a full (at the time) 5 games to beat Cleveland before being gentleman’s swept by Detroit next round.

He didn’t win a chip until he was 28 years old

    Ant is 22

    Naz Reid
