Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis spoke with the media for the first time on Saturday since the injury to his right soleus against Miami. Porzingis is expected to miss Round 2 of the NBA playoffs, which begins Tuesday.

Celtics can probably play without him for the next round, but he's needed for ECF and the Finals. stay healthy.

Babied him all year saw this coming. Hes done if he comes back he will injure it again. Playoff basketball is completely different animal and if the Celtics don’t toughen up, they’re screwed.

Such an awesome player, but I’m afraid he’s just going to be damaged goods. This the problem with super tall, lanky guys – they’re prone to leg and hip problems. Porzingis walks wonky even when he’s healthy.
