Steve Nash KILLED The Team That Ditched Him
When Phoenix and Dallas squared off in the 2005 playoffs, there was more than just a trip to the Western Conference finals on the line. This was about pride, and vengeance.
The matchup featured Steve Nash – fresh off winning his first of two straight MVP awards – leading the revolutionary Seven Seconds or Less Suns against a Mavericks team that had discarded him less than a year earlier.

Steve Nash was one of the best PG's of all time.
"Why can't Steve Nash play like an MVP for the Mavs?" Mark Cuban asked – easy answer, he can't because the team built in Dallas wasn't the same as the one Phoenix had. Just like Dirk said, they were better off apart to grow themselves separately.
At the end of it: Nash with 2 MVPs and Dirk with a title and an MVP.
my fav player all time. hate when people try to deny his mvp. "but muh kobe 36ppg on 50 shots per game and the 6th seed."
Mavs just did the same thing with Brunson
The 2005 MVP was deserving contrary to whatever shaq says, 2006 was highly debatable tho.
My favorite PG of all time!
You are festering my wounds,dude…
Jalen Brunson will get the same video soon.
Now they let go of Brunson. It's like a curse on Dallas sadly
Less than 20 years later, they do the same thing with Brunson.
Hoping for Knicks vs Mavs Finals for Brunson to destroy his former team
Suns could have been the Champs in 05' or at least made a finals appearance if not for Horry's dirty play.
20/28 shooting, 48 points… 🤯
It is possible to have too much conflicting talent on a team.
Thank you for reminding me of Steve Nash. ❤
one of the greatest to never win a ring. bro doesn't get enough credit. feel like not enough people watched him. shouldve won a ring in 07 with one of the most dysfunctional and unlucky franchises
