  1. I got Dallas over OKC. But losing to Minnesota in the west finals and Boston Celtics winning the NBA Championship 🏆

  2. The Energy you project is the Key! Ive seen all Mavs games and trust me, that energy is being recieved by the team. Tesla said it better

  3. I mean the last time we saw it was with LeBron but his EGO got in the way. Now we see a mature Kyrie doing what he always do, and with a fresh new version of Lebron

  4. I think the problem is very simple… their reputation.

The media makes narratives based what suit them, and the fans make narratives based on their short sighted "what have you done lately" mindset. Why? Because of results. But me personally, I know that correlation does not equal causation. People lookat what happened in brooklyn and boston and the narrative became that kyrie was a team cancer. Luca, ball dominant does everything, people don't want to play with him.

Putting aside whether these things are true or not, a more general question needs to be asked. Can you really make such claims without knowing the full details of the situation? I don't think so. That's why I believe if you do make such a claim, base it off their personality and not what you think is happening. Cause most of you don't know for sure the exact circumstances these players deal with, even with your "sources".

Did I know this would work? No. But based on what I understand about kyrie's personality, it COULD. The rest depends on if luka can adjust to having a superstar for the first time. And he's shown that he can. And just like that it worked out.

  5. @09:54 You may have forgotten to mention the player who scored 45 points over Wembanyama who made just 10, while mentioning what to anticipate for next year?

  6. The first time I ever saw a true dynamic duo (I was there for it) was Jordan and Pip. Pip laid his talent down at the feet of the Bulls, giving them the formula for Jordan to be who he was. When Jordan just didn't have it (go back and check the tapes) Pip took over and showed who he really was. I think he regrets that decision now, but that's what it was. In this situation nobody is being asked to not be who they are (and nobody is being asked to be larger than life), and man, we are seeing beauty in sportsmanship. Glad to witness it.

  7. They are still cheering because those are Dallas Fans. They still believe that the Cowboys are gonna win it all. Every. Single. Year.
    Absolutely delusional.

  8. I would say that Dallas fans knows their team best and that was why everybody was cheering loudly because we noticed that Kyrie was about to go on a crazy run like he always does. We knew his switch was flipped up and ready to hoop like he always does. Made sure to give him that same energy back. We’ve made comebacks before and did crazier things.

  9. still not at the level of any european club im sorry but its the truth i cant imagine how boring the crouds got to be if this is the loudest it gets even though dallas croud is quiet nice

  10. I understand why most NBA fans are in favor of OKC. I mean, they’re the 1st seed. It’s the safest bet. 🙂

However, Mavs has changed drastically after the trade deadline.

I see mavs winning the series in 6. 😉

  11. The personal attacks on Luka and Kyrie are old. No teammate, other than LeBron stans, have outwardly called out either of them. Brunson wanted to stay with Luka, but the Mavs gave him away for pennies. The Nets are run by idiots, and KD supported Kyrie the entire time.

  12. 8:55 forget the lob over Yao Ming to Shawn Marion. Jason Kidd spilling drink on the court will forever be his legacy 😅

  13. I never seen it as an experiment I just see two versatile guards in a backcourt same with white a Holiday in Boston. What Phoenix is doing is more of an experiment IMO they have 3 of the same exact players in the starting lineup!!!!

  14. Luka is clearly 1A and Kyrie the 1B…
They can be considered equal in terms of scoring, but Luka also provides so much playmaking/passing. This is the reason they CAN work together this well: Complementarity.
This is the exact same reason the "big 3" of the Suns CANNOT work together well: they do not complement each other's skill sets, they are the exact same type of players (premium scorers/shooters).

  15. 9:49 its funny how we all know The east only have one candidates for the Finals. The East is so weak… Its fun to see the Knicks winning and making noise, but if they were in the west they would most likely have been eliminated. Its really just Boston.

  16. Bullshit. Porzingis is no star. Basically always injured role player. And coach Carlisle last won a playoff series in 2011!!!
Luka never had problem with any star nor he is on record of speaking badly about anyone. Fake news.

  17. I thinkkkkk… Hoopreports is now transitioning to Dallas-Luka content 😅 Since Curry (favPlayer after KB24) is now at the end of his career… Sad but I still support you men!

  18. I am glad Luka and Kyrie are gelling, but the Mavs are still a piece or two short of contention.
Edit: Lively has potential to be that guy depending on his development.

  19. I'm gonna keep saying this. If Lebron James comes to play with Steph and KD on the same team, I'M BURNING CHASE CENTRE TO THE GROUND..

  20. It’s still funny when Luka puts his hands up to his face in amazement every time Kyrie does something spectacular.

  21. When the last time? Curry and KD, both 1a, curry is the actual leader, KD is the statistical leader (but not by much)
