No one questions Embiid’s character they question his mental toughness in the 4th quarter… he constantly chokes in 4th quarters either due to conditioning, injury, or mentals he’s a no show in big 4th quarters
Philly had the MVP, best player in the series, and the third best player in Maxey. They still lost. That goes on Embiid, especially when his 4th quarters are abysmal. Yes, Tobias was lousy, has been lousy, was a lousy choice over Butler when they made the decision, but Tobias is not the face of the franchise and never was.
Everyone keeps saying Embiid is a generational talent, that he's the best big man ever, and he's not even Yao Ming. He does not impact significant games in a positive way. Duncan took over when it mattered, Mourning, Olajuwon, Robinson, Shaq, Kareem, Wilt, JOKIC….
Embiid fades away. He's a wannabe guard in a centers body, and can't write the checks that his style of play demands. He's 31, you've surrounded him now with 500 different players, and they can't all be wrong. Sometimes ya gotta call it what it is. He's not a true leader, he's not as good as y'all think, and they will never win with him being the face of the team. If the Philadelphia 76ers want to win a ring with Joel he needs to cease being a focal point of the offense and instead focus on defense and rebounds. That's it.

Rb Brunson was horrible. He was jumping backwards into defenders. He ran away from the rim after defenders to jump into them to get foul calls. This is unacceptable. But I'm not taking the heat off our team. The bench didn't do enough most of the series.

They should make it an offensive foul if you jump backwards into players. Maxey got body slammed basically. And not rewarded. Every time I seen a foul it was tricky tac fouls.

Jalen Brunson a flopping fish???? Brunson on the drive positions himself in front of the trailing defenders and stops on a dime jumping straight up and the defenders, YOUR DEFENDERS kept falling into him. Embiid continued getting and ones with finger tips to the elbow then falling to the ground like a beached whale. STOP IT! It’s all good though. I get it. You need to make up fairy tales to make yourself feel better and sleep at night. If you want to be respected you have to take off your team colored goggles and call it as it is. I know the truth hurts. I’m just trying to help here. Have a great off-season. Maybe you can review Joel Embiid’s trip to Cancun this off-season.
