And that's why LeBum couldn't handle Pat Riley and Eric Spoelstra. They were the last team that said no to him.
The problem is they don't have a legit championship roster and they have been over achieving since Jimmy got there. They haven't got a legit championship roster since 2014.
They have been over achieving because of Spo and Jimmy. Pat and Mickey, ya'll gotta step up. Teams like Boston, OKC and Denver actually formed a legit championship team to compete.
I love Pat Riley. But is he really the best GM in the NBA? No, that's Sam Presti and Brad Stevens.
I've been watching Pat Riley since the big 3 got formed. He's not the best GM, he's the most opportunistic GM out there.

Jimmy going to Miami? That's Wade recruiting Jimmy. And Pat taking advantage of the tensions in Philly.
Kyle to Miami? That's Jimmy recruiting Kyle.
Rozier to Miami? That's what I've been saying about Riley. That's the opportunistic Riley at work. He saw someone wanted out, again, and he snatches him for peanuts. Great move, but that wasn't planned.
It's also funny because, The Celtics actually beat Pat on his own game this year. Okay, so Pat missed out on Dame and he landed on Milwaukee. That's alright. But that left Jrue available. You would expect Riley to snatch him, but nah, Stevens took the opportunity to snatch Jrue.
Pat doesn't have a set groundwork for the Heat roster. But he's the best at grabbing unlikely opportunities out there.
They need to sit down and lay a proper groundwork of what kind of roster they expect to form.
