Yeah Rudy! Didn’t just play elite individual defense, but transformed the entire teams defensive mindset and identity. So glad he’s being recognised.

This team continues to prove just how special they are, the continuing accolades further proves it!

We have the 3 best bigs in the league

Congrats Rudy!! Slam dunk choice, glad the NBA agrees

As great as a defender Rudy is, the culture he created might be even more valuable

The Stifle Tower in 11 seasons:

4x DPOY (most in NBA history)

    6x All-Defense

    4x All-NBA

    3x All-Star

Congrats Gobert. I still remember when people actually thought Walker Kessler was better than Gobert.

Talk about a good week. First born. Fourth DPOY

  9. Run your victory lap Wolves fans.

Like I said in r/NBA I actually apologize for all the dumbass comments I’ve made back when the trade happened.

I cannot believe I was stupid enough to actually believe Walker Kessler was comparable.

Gobert is a fucking defensive menace the way he’s being used in Minnesota.

    ✅4x DPOY

✔️Close the series out at home.

DPOY and 6th man? On the same team? ON THE MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES!?

Only fitting that he has a son after sonning the whole league. Congrats Big Ru! You earned it and you’ve transformed this team!

    Take us home 27

  13. That’s my beautiful big baguette!!! DPOY, baby!

Honestly, at certain times last year I found myself questioning whether he really was the dominant game changing defender we thought we were getting.

Given a bit of time and a second season, he’s been every bit that guy and more.

Well deserved and must be one of the best weeks of his life with the child, award and team crushing.

  15. One year ago he got zero All defensive team votes, that’s how bad his rep was. To turn it around and win a fourth DPOY a year later is absolutely remarkable.

Props to Rudy for letting everyone know who he is again.

Greatest defender of his generation! Congrats big Ru!

There is only one thing left for this man to add to his resume, and we’re 10 Ws away ladies and gentlemen.

If Gobert wasn’t a lock for the HOF before he is now.
