Mavs take down the Clippers! The Full Round 1 Recap Mini Movie | NBA Playoffs
Some of the biggest names in basketball went head-to-head in the first round between the Dallas Mavericks and LA Clippers. Luka Dončić. James Harden. Kyrie Irving. Paul George. Kawhi Leonard. Russell Westbrook. But while the Mavs’ 4-2 series victory was thanks in large part due to Luka and Kyrie’s scoring brilliance, it was a true team effort. Derrick Jones Jr. played stifling defense on the perimeter. P.J. Washington Jr. stood on business. And Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively II were big on both ends of the floor. In a series full of superstars, the Mavs’ supporting players starred in their roles and helped lead the team to its first series win since 2022. Next stop: the second round against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
