  1. When they overturned the foul called on Brunson in the 3rd quarter, that was a clear foul on him, i knew it was gonna be tough. Shouldnt have had a challenge left to get the terrible out of bounds call overturned. Then crunch time comes and Knicks got every call during that time. Haliburton foul was called and overturned but we lost out on an easy layup. Then a phantom kick ball happens that we cant overturn, would have been another layup, and they get a 3. Sure Myles was moving a touch but Hart was moving on every screen he sets including the one on the phantom kickball possession, that wasnt given to Pacers. Brunson flails his body around everytime hes touched, i wish we would give him a 90's type foul just one time to let him know what a foul really is.

  2. The refs ruined the ending to this game. The Pacers might not of scored on the last possession but they should have let it play out. If you watched Donte DiVincenzo right before the bad kicked ball call, you would see an egregious moving screen that wasn't called. There were really 2 calls that were missed on that possession.

  3. I’m not usually a “refs lost us this game guy” but in this case it’s undeniable. Hali needs to be a lot better to us to win this series but we managed to win this game without him and the refs robbed us. So disappointing

  4. I just read that Zarba, the lead official, said we felt that would be a kick ball violation…..how do u call what u feel and not what u see?
Seems like they want the Knicks to win

  5. Miles offensive foul was technically a ticky tacky foul but it’s often not a call made in under a min in game – they didn’t call it in the next game after this for example Charles Barkley pointed out. Just a flop that got sold. We didn’t play good defense and got sloppy with the ball – trying to lay relaxed but it was too relaxed and got discombobulated. Just how it goes. Should have a rule you can review any call in final 2 or 1 min however – that kicked ball would have been an easy you putting us up instead of Vincenzo’s 3 and then leading to this. Some bad contact calls are a part of the game – but Brunson throwing himself at a a defender is a foul but when they did it and reviewed it to Miles under the basket it was fair game? Even the telecasters said they didn’t understand what that call was after a review. NY is a very intense place and I think it may not be the NBA corrupt – although it’s a much bigger market for fans – but it’s also just a very social thing to feel the pressure of screaming fans to push the game in your favor. Like Rick said – you can’t expect to get calls in here. Why is that – who knows… we just need to beat them hands down to overcome the BS.

  6. How bad is Ty's back? Should he be playing? 6 points 8 assists uncharacteristic turnovers, too upright on drives.

  7. If the pacers win game 2 the league is rigged, they messed up last night, they’ll clean it with a pacers win game 2 it’s all a mind game, to keep us spending money, We have to WAKE UP, and stop supporting a corrupt league, till that happens we won’t see change….

  8. Now I am not one who says the NBA is rigged…. But these are suppose to be the best refs in the world? At this rate, coaches may need up to 5 challenges per game lol……….

  9. I'll be honest with you guys. I'm a knicks fan and your fate was sealed when you got us instead of philly. No offense but no one wants to watch a indiana v boston matchup or even worst a indiana v Cleveland matchup. You guys are not only gonna have to go against the knicks but you gotta go against the nba

  10. Tony, why did TJ not play more in the second half!? Seemed like we built leads when he was on the floor and lost them when he was off

  11. Frankly, our best lineup was going big with either Myles or Ijax with Obi, Siakam, Hali, & TJ— but that excludes Ricky’s favorites so we’ll hardly ever see it again.

  12. Watch the play were we got a delay of game. When saikam air balled it, and haliburton got the rebound under the goal and scored. They called a delay of game. There was still two tenths of a second left on the clock when the ball left his hand. Should have been a bucket.

  13. i knew i wasnt tripping halli playing scared. where was that energy he had when he beat dame early in the season and would let it fly. siakom played ok but i need better from him obi was cooking i think had he stayed in the game pacers win inspite the knicks utilizing homecourt advantage. forgot tj that little whitw boy got heart 💪 i rock with it. i still got pacers winning this series. halli better stop playing scared though.

  14. Piston's fan here, so I could care less which team wins – but that said you guys got screwed by the refs WITHOUT A DOUBT. Its one thing to miss the "kicked ball" call – but to call that a "moving screen" is complete BS.

  15. Ty had a really bad game. But I think it's largely in part to do with their lack of creator's. Guy's that can hit shots. Walker should be playing and the other's. To give Nesmith and everyone more gas late. Obi played great as usual. Then they don't play him for the most vital minutes of the 4th qtr. He played solid D on OG too. I can tell he doesn't like those taller athletic types on him. Pacers should be playing everyone, not only for the experience. But to give the guy's and coaches a chance to find out what matchups will work.. It makes no sense to not play guy's that are going to be a part of the team moving forward for sure.. Does anyone really think we are winning a Championship this year??? I mean, if we do well great.. But our development and playing freely is what we need to be focused on.. Losing Mathurin to injury hurt us. Losing Bruce and Heild did also.. Replacing those guy's has to be a big focus this off-season.. We really need a point of attack defender/slasher.. Shooter at the wing.. Or someone who can create and hit shots in clutch time.. Hell anytime. That's why we're so stagnant. It felt as if we brought crazy energy we haven't had since before All-Star.. But with less shooting talent and Bruce.. The crazy intensity alone from playing slower like we had was an adjustment. What I was so proud to see.. Was exactly that though and the fact we were trying to get back to who we were. That will be so important moving forward. We have some holes to feel. But everyone played a great game, especially as far as energy goes. Ty was the only one, but I'm sure he will find a way to change that next game. It's not often that happens he gets only that many points.. Never. I'd like to see more actions in the screen and rolls late. Or having guy's move off the ball more. They did good rotating to get the defense off. It's a lot harder to do when the defense can stay home on guy's easy. We don't have that creator to shake thing's up. If Ty can shake guy's a bit. Get to that midrange like Brunson was doing. Throw it back at them. Then hit the 3 ball afterwards. He has to be the guy that gets those types of shots. Obi does pretty good at getting a shot.. Pascal at time's, just doesn't make a lot or stretch. He will need to make sure everytime he spins, or gets to the rim. Those shots don't miss. We need him to be hella consistent on those. Whatever happens idc, I only want to see everyone playing for eachother. Knicks are doing better at that right now. Because they've only added small pieces to fill certain holes. Which their approach on trades and FA is more of what my approach would have been. We had major changes to our team mid-season. The fact that so many in the media and others outside IN. They must not realize this.. Because they talk as if we're that same team. We can be, we need to be.. But we need Mathurin and a couple other guy's. Then Obi more minutes obviously imo.. Just learn eachother and vibe over the off-season is what I hope for. We have loads of potential.

  16. Yeah, Ty will have to find ways to create his shot. Tough when you're being one of the only guards expected to create that way. Him having Mathurin that can do some of that at time's to get a break would help. We need our guards to have a little more energy to give on Offense. Which is why I'd play Walker at SF some. Put Nesmith on Brunson late, or try Sheppard. Anyone else when Nembhard started to get scored on at the end.

Ty has a shot that takes time to get off at 3.. So maybe getting to that midrange jumper. Or getting to the rim more could help. I wonder at time's how he really feels some game's. The energy was so intense and guy's everywhere. He wasn't able to get as many good reads either. We have to do better breaking down the Defense. Energy we haven't brought like that in awhile. Felt as if we were also trying to over compensate for our lack of talent offensively at time's.. Not that those guy's aren't, they are all good in their individual ways. We just needed the 3 guy's we lost badly..

  17. I would like to see a little more of TJ McConnell in game 2 paired with Tyrese. TJ brings a lot of energy and hustle on both sides of the ball. It might be a way to free up Tyrese and get him going on offense. He can’t have a repeat performance in game 2. I would also agree you can’t leave it up to the refs. If it’s close at the end, you’re playing both the Knicks and against the whistle. When they were up 9 last night, they needed to go on a run and put the game away.

  18. To quote Caitlin Cooper after lamenting the calls “but there was also 94-foot drives from Josh Hart, needless gambles in transition, a missed box-out following a missed free throw, a non-rotation up from the corner on what became the go-ahead three from Donte DiVencenzo, and a dead-ball foul. Refereeing aside, there was plenty that could be controlled by the Pacers”

She’s correct. It sucked about the moments we lost but we lost plenty of our own control.

  19. Halliburton is starting to look very overrated, and Siakam just isn't THAT guy. I hope we don't overpay Siakam because we already overpaid Hali IMO.

  20. Tyrese is fine. Im still high on him as well. He was getting the entire team involved & we should've won. The refs cost us the game & now he gets roasted because he didn't score. I admit 6 points isnt great but the entire team was scoring & tht is more important. Its just the loss tht makes it look crazy.
