This is the first game I’ve ever seen luka play god awful. It wasn’t just a slow shooting night for him, he was turning over excessively, not getting back on d and really just being a cone on that end tonight, chucking up rushed deeply contested looks when he’s not even hot. Making his teammates pick up fouls by not allowing proper time to set a screen before he crosses. Going in the mavs were my favorites to win the series, idk bout that anymore. I know it’s just one game, but they got exposed so many different ways not just 1 or 2. They got that belt tonight and Luka has a lot to do with it. Don’t be that superstar that can’t hang post season, it’s not a good look. Don’t make Kyrie wish he went to the lakers…

Oklahoma City in six… I’m a Mavericks fan, but Luka is injured and his recovery is not going to be quick enough to make a difference. His ability to take over the game is no longer there. I’m a lifelong Mavericks fan i’ve watched quite a few games with Luca and he has been off for quite a while now even against the clippers you could tell he was pushing through the games and limping noticeably. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them looked whipped either like they did last night. I think everyone realizes without a healthy Luka strength they are not the team they need to be.
