How can you give HB a C when he got out rebounded by the soda machine more often than not. At most he deserves a solid D.
I listened to several Orlando Magic exit interviews, including President of Operations, Jeff Weltman. Then I did some googling about their Front Office. Some writer made it out that Weltman has the last word on hiring, etc. I googled Orlando GM Anthony Parker, too. He (sister to Candace) grew up in the town I went to college outside of Chicago. I am cheering for Malik to do what he wants. I have no idea what Malik is thinking. But I know he wants to start and Mike Brown has made it clear he doesn’t want Malik to start. And Malik will get paid no more than 1/4 what De'Aaron will get paid here in Sac. I don’t see that as acceptable. Take a google around re Weltman and Parker and find as I did some helpful info and/or a trip to Orlando Magic's yt channel. Better that, than all the content fodder that is being thrown out by the talkers who want Malik to spend his prime NBA taking a backseat position and money wise, as well. He deserves better than that. And if you like Malik you should want him to do what he feels he wants. He deserves to shoot for the moon.
I don’t know, but it is possible Thompson is not that interested in Orlando, as it is possible he is trying to create the view he is wanted somewhere else to get a better offer with the Warriors. The aura alone of Malik versus Klay is miles apart. Malik brings in the gate money. By Malik's dynamic play, as well as by his personality. And Malik is a great mentor and makes his team better with his play creation for his mates. Malik always finds out immediately what his teammates want and can do, so he plays to their strengths. Remember the time Malik threw the ball at Keegan and yelled "SHOOT IT". And Keegan shot it. Klay doesn’t have these immeasurables rooted in his passionate and dynamic and colorful personality.
