the Wolves shutting down Denver last night without Gobert just proves he shouldn't have won DPOY. Wembanyama was the entire Spurs defense. the whole Minnesota roster is stacked with elite defenders.

To be fair. The Denver nuggets only play their best when they win. Minnesota is forcing them to not hit their spots. Play their game, amongst other things. They will take 1 from mn. But that's about it

I enjoy this channel but I have to say when Rob says Timberwolves have never been there and Nuggets have (to the championship and won it all) this seems to be something that I hear analysts say all the time, about any given matchup in any sport. So I wonder with this logic how does ANY team win their first championship? If they've never been there before it sounds like what many analysts mean is they don't have the experience so they can't do it. Obviously this is not true. So when it's obviously not true why do so many use this train of logic? Anyone understand it?
