Another enjoyable show!
Ja MVP unlikely unless somehow the Grizzlies outright win the west. The votes are not based on the same criteria.
Jaren DPOY depends on the Grizzlies getting a big that allows him to do the things he did when we had Steven. Jaren in that role made the entire team look better defensively.
Des as MIP? Hard to see however up to this point we have seen Des improve every single year so who knows.. another jump may be in order.

I know the trend is 5 out, but I wonder if a good to great defense combined with a strong around the rim team, could be a definite way to combat it. Looking at Wolves with 2 7 footers. Higher percentage around the rim then shooting 3's. Not saying no threes, but enough for spacing. Think about it, like Edey, for example, just offensively he would be dominant and draw 2 players to defend, then kick it to a good 3 shooter, or Ja, JJJ, or Clark cutting to the rim. The point is, you don't have to always follow, but instead find a wrinkle you are elite at it
Can you guys do a deep dive on coaching strategy for Championship Teams in the past and how the Grizzlies compare/contrast with how the game is played today. I grew up during the Bulls era and it seemed like surprise wasn’t the point it was execution. And you could look with consistency at the results. How does the Grizzles style match up and how can it improve?
