This is the END for the Cleveland Cavaliers…

The Boston Celtics just eliminated the Cleveland Cavaliers from the NBA Playoffs in five games to send them into a wildly interesting offseason. Donovan Mitchell’s future with the team is in question with teams like the Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, and more hoping that he doesn’t extend with the Cavs. Meanwhile, Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen are also seemingly on the block with teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder, Sacramento Kings, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans, and more interested in the services of one or the other. Evan Mobley is seemingly the only core team member that isn’t possibly on the move and even he has some question marks as well. Even if the Cavs don’t lose Donovan Mitchell, it feels like massive changes are coming for the franchise and we’re witnessing the end of the Cleveland Cavaliers as we know them. Let’s talk about it.

  1. If it’s the end okc will gladly take Donavan Mitchell and Evan Mobley if they’re trying to blow up their team

  2. Please never say Bickerstaff did any sort of good job at all. The guy is a bad coach. You even mention one of his bad points in passing when talking about Mitchell & Garland not fitting well and fail to realize that it's because of the coach.

Bickerstaff doesn't run an offense, it's ISO ball. It's quite frankly always been that way even before Mitchell got there. The year before, the Cavs were entirely reliant on Garland to create offense.

There's also the complete lack of team awareness. The supposed starting 5 for the team was barely above average when they played together this year. It has been painfully obvious to anybody who pays attention that the team is better when Okoro starts, because his defense is far more important than having a 5th offensive option with Strus.

  3. The media loves to blow up team and get players traded. They start up smoke that they hope turns into a fire.

  4. I don't see why Garland is getting all this hate. Of course he's been worse than the last two years, but that was because he wasn't healthy for the majority of the season. Losing like 15 pounds can do a lot to throw someone out of whack. I think you have to try and roll with Darius and Donovan one more time when both ARE 100% after the offseason. Before his broken jaw, Garland had about the same stats as last season, so I know he hasn't regressed. Obviously the team has improved from last year since we made the second round this time, and people forget that the cavs core is crazy young. Mitchell is 27 (most likely just the beginning of his prime), Allen is only 26, Garland is only 24, and Mobley is only 22, and I believe they will all play better under a new coach with a different gameplan.

  5. I low key think Donovan Mitchell is limiting Garland and Co. He doesn’t distribute as well as Garland and Garland and him have not meshed at all. I think Garland, Allen, and Mobley would all see a bump without Mitchell. I’d love to see Mitchell traded for two or more top tier role players that complete the roster like a Jrue Holiday or OG Anunoby or even brining back Markkanen

  6. We going to stick together and win a chip. Trade levert move strus to the bench with okoro and then sign a stretch 4 to pair with frobley

  7. Current Donovan cannot be a option A on a team, didn't work in Utah, wont work the Cavs. He doesn't have the mentality yet. He needs to play along side a real superstar, a veteran, to take that next step. If you cant get a veteran point to the Cavs, he should try and get to Golden State to play with Steph.

  8. I would resign everybody except garland and okorro to make a space for lbj. Hes literally waht the teams missing. An athletic SM who can create their own basket and D up when needed. If you cant get bj. Get pg. Need a small forward that can score 25 pts a game. A 1-2 punch. They dont have that. Its what their missing. Garland just isnt consistant enough imo. But imo the roster is fine as is. Except for the SM position. You get them healthy and entise lebron to come back. Its an instant contender with picks left and assets left to improve the team. Plus its the east. It would def make them an instant contender

  9. The cavs don’t really have a small so trade George Niang, Max Strus, Dean Wade and a couple of draft picks for a Brandon Ingram(I don’t know if the pelicans would agree with this trade)

  10. You forgot to mention that in that same Shams article, he mentions that Cleveland’s coaching staff did not want to develop Mobley’s offensive game at all for the past three years because they were in win now mode and didn’t feel like they needed to develop him

  11. It definitely sounds like mitchell will stay if we fire jb and make some better moves, which we are gojng to do anyway. And even if he doesnt he did a fuckload for his trade value this playoffs so we are jn a good spot regardless, at least we arent atlanta

  12. This is where mgmt proves their worth! They have some really nice players. Gotta keep it goin somehow.

  13. cavs dont gotta break up the core. priority one should be retaining donovan and running these guys back. the guards/bigs not being a fit is way overblown. spida has seen his best years playing with garland, and allen dominated the magic next to mobley. mobleys play after he went down wasnt just more space being available; he wasnt doing this in his lone big minutes all season, or last year against the the knicks. he genuinely might have just figured out how effective a scorer he is, and will come in next year replicating that next to allen. garland had his most efficient year when spida came, was 3rd in the league in +/- back in 2023. that kind of impact just doesnt happen in a situation you dont fit in, and it doesnt just go away. the injuries affected his mind just as much as his body, he can reset both this offseason and flourish next to donovan. contrary to popular beliefs and the newest reports, dg has the same green light spida does. came into preseason this year with higher 3pt volume clearly on his mind, increased his strength to finish better in the paint. before the jaw injury, we saw this newfound aggression manifest as career high %’s in the paint and higher 3point attempts. coming out the all star break was his peak as a shooter, 10 3s per game, 49%!!! now he wont do that for a whole season, but 40% is doable for a guy with his track record, even with that many shots. let it be known rn. cavaliers are keeping their four main guys, adding better positional size around them, maybe a new coach, and making another leap into contender status next season. darius and evan bounce back years, injuries the only reason their stats didnt pop this year

  14. Hey man love the videos. When playoffs are over would you consider making a hornets rebuild video. I’m a huge fan of the hornets but no one talks about them and i’d love to hear your opinion.

  15. Cleaveland has no choice but to trade him cause he will definitely leave. My guess spida would prefer miami as a trade destination.

  16. Garland for Brandon Ingram would really be a great trade for both teams. A Front court of Allen, Mobley and Ingram would give teams fits especially on defense. Even if you were to lose Mitchell it's more likely to land a decent guard then a SF of B.I. talent. Then Garland would be a great fit for Zion. Especially a point forward Zion. They Must Allen for right now.

  17. Cone, I think our thunder are overmatched. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t see us winning the series. This season has been a success no matter what happens and the future is definitely bright. Thunder up!☝️

  18. I used to like Donavan Mitchell until I had him on my fantasy team and bro is so inefficient some nights.

  19. They should have never ducked the 76ers 😂 losing to Hornets while being up by 30+ in the last game of the season

  20. As a Cavs fan I'm fine with Mitchell leaving. They should see what happens this next season and if it doesn't look good by the trade deadline then trade him for picks and a legitimate starting small forward 6'8 to 6'10.

If you trade him to a "nicer city" then they should fleece that team as much as possible. Don't take a bad deal. I'd rather he walk and we get nothing than take some scrubs that another team doesn't want.

  21. Remember that time that LeBron went to the Knicks after he was wearing Yankees gear after they won the world series? Yeah me neither.
