  1. First they blow the game for the dozenth tine because they give up way too many second chances and then they lay this turd on us? I'm about done…

  2. Ben. This is a good pick up by Bobby. He is the son of Dale Davis if you remember. Kerr never really gave him a chance. TJD knows how to play, he;s smart, gritty, good rebounder. tough and a good finisher. I think the Raptors fans are going to be pleasantly surprised.

  3. He's a forward but GSW played him at the center because he was their tallest player at that time before Post joined in

  4. This wouldn't seem so disappointing if Poeltl was healthy and if it was clear that this acquisition was aimed solely at having a backup center to play limited minutes off of the bench.

Given the Raptors lack of activity in terms of acquiring a full sized center I keep wondering if Raptors management still expects Poeltl to be healthy by the playoffs.

  5. He's athletic enough that his presence down low seems to be able to match bigs like Mobley. He doesn't look out of place. If it allows us to keep RJ and IQ AND big Jak comes back, it looks like a really good pickup. My biggest beef is that we haven't had a 3pt shooting big since we had two of them and we won the chip that year.

  6. Bro what are yall saying. The difference between 6’9 and 7ft ain’t much. Bam, Sabonis, Jarret Allen, all 6 foot 9!!!! RELLLLLAAAAX

  7. Acquiring Trace for a second round pick is a good deal 👍🏽. He’s young , mobile big with quick hands eye coordination , is a great screen and roller , rebounder and likes to alley oop

  8. I don't know man it seems these are the type of trades that signal Bobby is putting his pager down. Salary dump's, and trading for a general fit with a meh let's see what happens type of transaction that minimizes what goes out seems like we're done with trades this round. Unless we pull a genie with Sabonis or Giannis because we do have trade capital with IQ, Poetl, RJ, plus maybe a 1st round that can all go out in a mix of packages to get one of those guys. Poetl would be redundant in any of those trades so he would have to go but maybe we keep RJ if we go after Sabonis but I fear RJ and IQ plus Poetl would have to go for Giannis. The wrench in all of this is Poetl's injury and how no team wants that on their roster right now. Although like I said you do the scut work after the important trades. So the critical work of getting under the luxury tax seems to me the priority here and that signals what remains is scut work not major trades. Raptors are known to wait out the other side who is driving a hard bargain so maybe Kings and Bucks are driving hard bargains right now and Bobby is waiting them out to see how desperate they get.

  9. 😂😂 I swear Bobby is allergic to 7 foot players, but at least he takes the pressure off Scottie and CMB.

  10. Best case Kevon Looney worst case Khem Birch the hopeful side of me says that somethings up with the warriors with all their players only playing good in spans and showing flashes so maybe he can do better if Poeltl can get back, feels like a betting on your guys type of trade
