    Since the Nico firing things felt stuck in neutral. I said wouldn't be able to fully enjoy things till somebody came forward and said "this is the direction we're going in". I'm glad we finally got that.

    I mean, I dig the trade, but the owner is still an unhinged PDF File apologist, so the franchise can only go so far with someone that evil at the helm.

    I still won’t trust ownership until they fire everyone in the front office with the stench of Nico Harrison on them… drafting Cooper and dumping AD was a no brainer. This offseason will tell me everything I need to know… This regime turned our Mavs into the Sac Kings in one trade.

    Flagg has a better team around him than Luka had his first 4 years in Dallas, so there is a shot. That said, they are 13 games out of 500 and 21 games out of first in a West that is only getting better. Flagg cannot keep playing 39 minutes and shooting 11 more times than Luka did as a rookie. If he does, that means Dallas has no other pieces around him. Time will tell what happens.

    I watch your show, and I totally understand the salary cap very well, but I don't get the trade. We had two years for him to have more trade value than he has right now, and we had other avenues to escape the 2nd apron that don't lower our ceiling as much as this trade does. I think it is entirely possible he would have netted us real assets next year or even has a bounceback All Star year.

    Zubac is half the player of healthy AD (albeit much healthier and younger). Zubac got two picks (one either lottery or later unprotected, the other unprotected) and Mathurin. That's more like what I hoped we would have gotten for one of the 75 best players in history.
