  1. Unless they plan to change the rules we can protect up to 8 players and the expansion team can only take 1 player from each team. Unrestricted free agents cannot be taken but restricted free agents can' be protected or taken. That is for every team Josh . But that original list that Matt Guzman put out is more than likely the list. Also if you lose a player the team that loses the player will get a trade exemption = to the contract That they have. As they get closer to the actual expansion draft as well they're gonna put out more information to the teams Guys even if they vote it's gonna be at least a year before they get it.

  2. SOLUTION IS OBVIOUS : If you're gonna add two teams, they can't both be in the West, and trying to pretend Vegas is in the East makes no sense from a transportation standpoint. So it can't be Vegas and Seattle. The answer is here in Canada — the 2nd most common country of origin for NBA players (currently 25). Montréal has 5 NBA players born there, a large, basketball-passionate immigrant fan base, and a local sports culture par excellence. It would balance East-West the addition of EITHER Las Vegas or Seattle, and would give a second team to a neighbour that has always been there for the U.S., in spite of recent attacks on us. Guarantee a Montréal team would be an instant financial success; ever since the Nordiques left Québec, regional investors have been begging to bring a new franchise in. This is the moment! OH, AND WEMBY WOULD HAVE A FRENCH-SPEAKING CROWD TO CHEER HIM ON !! Allez les gars!

  3. It would ve so funny if the Spurs made Fix available in the expansion draft, and neither team took him.
