Lebron just recently in the past 5 years started sitting from being hurt. He was NEVER hurt and he was icing his knees from day one. They started young preserving his body. Paul George just got caught and he's younger on a big contract. Lebron had never tested dirty.
Any team watching this game would be happy to pickup LeBron James on their team for next season. It looks like an offense can still run through him. He can still pass and score at a high level. He has the IQ to know when to do what, etc. He just needs a good defensive cast around him and 3-point snipers to kick out to.

What a great performance, for the age…like Cristiano Ronaldo, which is still very good…for his age. But, each time Cristiano scores a couple of great goals and is the man of the match, he does it in saudi arabia…not in Real Madrid or Manchester, for example. Cause they great clubs want great players, period. Not great players "for the age". Everytime LeBron shines some fans put the team in second place and praise LeBron, cause he is this and that "for the age", the Lakers are to NBA what Real Madrid is to the Champions League, LeBron shouldnt be the center figure no more, his prime is long go, as good as he is for the age, it shouldnt be like it is. Resting as much as he does is good for him, to continue to deliver (sometimes) at his age, its not good for the Lakers.

James became the oldest player to have a triple-double Thursday night, accomplishing the feat at 41 years and 44 days old during the Los Angeles Lakersβ 124-104 victory over the Mavs.
James had 28 points and 12 assists when he grabbed his 10th rebound with 2:06 to play. He got a standing ovation from the Lakersβ crowd when he checked out moments later with his 123rd career triple-double, the fifth-most in NBA history. James broke the record held for the past 22 years by Karl Malone, who recorded his final triple-double for the Lakers when he was 40 years and 127 days old.
The top scorer in NBA history LeBron Jamesβ play has remained largely outstanding when healthy this season, and he repeated his belief that he could continue almost indefinitely at this level. James entered this game averaging 21.8 points, 6.9 assists and 5.7 rebounds, and the Lakers are in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race despite playing only 10 games with James, Doncic and Austin Reaves simultaneously healthy.
