There should be rules where players you draft don’t count as much to the 2nd apron stuff. I’d even go further in saying players with long tenure on a team should count less as well.
The league is at its best with player and team continuity and it sucks to see teams that are good at drafting and developing players get punished or have to let go of home grown talent.
