Just confirming what we already knew we are officially tanking lol but i think he’s healthy just gonna wait to have a better season next season i think its smart for him and for us im not mad just disappointed we gotta wait to see him and cooper on the floor together but man i cant wait to see this rebuild next season

Mavs need to tank the rest of the season so they can contend next season.
I would've wanted him to play 10 games atleast to knock off rust and see him and Flagg's connection but that was only if he was comfortable to play after injury without rushing back. People need to understand that players rehabbing from injury to being cleared to play isn't the same as being in game shape. They train rigorously in the off-season in their own high pace to do the elite moves you see in games. I'm fine with Kyrie's decision and hope he is back and stronger next season as the Mavs need him. Its 28 games left and its no secret thanks to Cuban what Mavs Front Office and the rest of the league have as priorities for this season in tanking.
Just the priority is if the Mavs land a top 5 or picks 6-7 that they need to draft a guard for Flagg. A physical one at that. As Flagg has that Forward position locked down as he is just missing a guard.

Unofficially tanking. Which we should. If we can get a top 4 draft pick we can truly match a young superstar along side Flagg. Now we need to make three more moves. 1st move Klay back to Warriors or Lakers to allow him one more championship run. Guards: Irving, Maxie, Williams, plus add one more defensive focused guard or add one through the draft. Wings: Flagg, Marshall, PJ or add 1 more young 3D wing that can hit the 3. Centers: Lively, Gafford & Cissi. If we can keep this group healthy and pick up 3 solid role players by moving Klay, Martin, Powell. We will be competitive but it depends on Irving coming back 100% and playing at pre ACL injury. Second: Lively & Gafford have to stay healthy. Last a top 4 pick would be icing on the cake. Time will tell. Personally id like to see Irving comeback and play in maybe 10 to 12 games just to see if he is ole Irving or hopefully not the OLD Irving. Big if at his age with game built on speed & quickness.

Kyrie has a history of being injured when he isn't happy. How many teams has he run through now, that had hoped adding him would turn the corner? How many rings did that bring? Don't worry though, someone will give him a max deal again.
Best thing in a whole because if he came back and got hurt and we aint even competing it would leave us worse. Give him his time and let's blow the league up next year with a more talented team healthy and ready to compete.
It will be a great thing if he came back and plays 50% or more we would win more games.
We need to trade him for some picks. We should've just brought Ad back next season with kyrie and coop. Honestly I haven't been watching the games. All I know is we are gonna be bad for a while. There's no guarantee that we will hit on our draft picks. Ask Atlanta how that went

Wow how unbelievable! If I hadn't predicted this 11 months ago, I would just be shocked. Wish I had made a list of all man's fans who told me I was crazy and he'd be back by January so they can make the playoffs.
Not surprised but I was hoping he would get a warm up in the last few games of the season as long as he treated it as a warm up and didn't actually try to help win games
As a mav fan and a Kyrie fan imma say this is the best move for both parties and they are doing exactly what I want them to do we need younger healthier players to add to our vets and this season doesn’t matter . Sabonis shut down Zach Lavigne shut down everyone across the league is doing this to better position themselves for the future. I think it’s a great move and I’m excited about the future .
Some of us know basketball , and kyrie, it’s a possibility that he may leave and we are back at square 1, it makes no sense that we were just in he finals and now we are rebuilding a year later, Thanks Nico
