    sorry but Kyrie is a joke at this point..dude has played 2 games in the past 2 years? used to be my favorite player easily. Can't say that anymore at all. He's as bad as AD with the bs injuries

    Align? Kyrie is nearing mid 30s and already had a season-ending injury. If anything, trade him and start a soft rebuild.

    Another pro to shutting down Kyrie this season is that the NBA won't know what Ky & Coop look like. Why would you want to give the NBA a glimpse of THAT problem THEY have to deal with? That could potentially be one incredibly difficult pick n roll to defend. Both can finish, Ky can pop, and I would imagine Coop's 3 ball gets respectable next season (watch him make me look like an idiot and it's like borderline elite).

    But then imagine what if Dallas gets the 3rd pick, somehow the Jazz & Wizards pass them up and from 5 they get to 3. And from 3, I feel like the Mavs have the pieces to sweet talk a trade to 1 if they NEEDED to. So now you've got Coop, Ky & pretty much your pick of the elite 3. That's the makings of a Big 3 right there…at least a couple year window for a Big 3 before Father Time starts coming for Kyrie and gotta find a 3rd Big Time player.

    Or maybe they're happy with who is expected to be at 3 and they hold onto Gafford, Klay, PJ, BWilly and the picks. Save those for getting the vet role players you feel Coop & the rook need going forward…and maybe hit on a guy who can be the 3rd in a Big 3.

    And I feel like if Dallas does get into the Top 3…..THEN the "NBA Experts" can start talking about the Mavs rookie being in a "perfect situation". I was fucking laughing at them saying that about Coop. "Oh he doesn't have to be THE guy right away like he would with the Wizards". Suuuuuure. Kyrie was gonna miss most of the season…and will miss all of it now. And couldn't count on AD for shit. That means Coop has to be THE guy RIGHT AWAY. And he's delivered!!

    But THIS upcoming rookie, if Dallas gets in the Top 3, would be coming into an ideal situation. Gonna be playing with a 19 year old generational talent and gonna have a healthy Kyrie being the floor general and making the offense cook. No pressure to be THE dude right away. No giant expectations to "save the franchise". Just come in, have fun, hustle & ball. And if it all goes well, you might not be the dude who saved the franchise but you were the dude who made them Champs.

    We’re a top 5 seed next year if healthy. Klay and Max will light it up and our depth is insane especially if we keep the new guys added from the trade.

    I believe Kyrie wants to stay on the Mavs, but the Mavs likely want to trade him and he doesn't have a no-trade clause. Personally I think you only trade if you get an insanely good offer, otherwise don't settle for second hand young players or bad picks
