    Cade won’t be the MVP. He could average 40/15/10 and would still be 2nd. The national media will never award a Piston the MVP trophy. Especially when he starts winning titles, the hate will snowball because it won’t be sanitized and pretty.

    There’s genuinely not one good reason for not putting Cade on top of the mvp ladder besides the lack of real playoff history.

    Cade is the clear face of one of the all time great turnarounds in league history over 2 years. It’s clear he’s the leader and that he embraced this whole process.

    The near triple double numbers, the defense, the 3 level scoring, the clutch play, the exceptional passing, not having a true second option, his teams record and being the best team in the league, making other players better, the versatility, what else is there, the man deserves the MVP

    As a Pistons fan, Karl Anthony Towns was one of the big reasons we lost that series to the Knicks last year. His play made it glaring to me that we were really missing Beef Stew. Then he said earlier in the season that he didn't know his role on offense. I translate that as Thibodeau utilized him better than Mike Brown did. Here's the other thing. People were complaining that Thibodeau was demanding they play a physical style like the Detroit Pistons last year in the playoffs, but now what are people saying? They are saying that the Knicks are soft and aren't as physical as the Pistons. You see the problem here? You can't criticize Thibodeau for demanding they be tough then criticize the knicks for not being tough after they can Thibodeau. Wishy washy.

    Fyi…..if both have the same diameter, a round peg fits into a square hole. Pretty sure you got that one backwards…..just like your decision to leave your job covering the Pistons for a job covering the Knicks. Any regrets now? 😂

    The Pistons aren't at the top of the ladder reaching for the belt anymore. They already grabbed the belt & they are using it on their opponents on a nightly basis.
