The NBA made that move, NOT the Mavs.
We miss Jalen & Jacoby
Jalen came back when Molly went away, lol
Luka is overrated, lhe plays no defense
The AD trade made no sense. They 💯 could have got a better package
Another reason to sit Kyrie, why would you want to give the NBA plenty of looks at what Coop & Ky can be? Let the NBA figure out that problem on the fly. And if Dallas can add a Top 3-5 pick too in this really talented draft? Now you're starting to talk.
chuck is getting slimmer that he need his tailor to adjust his suits too.😂😂😂
You mean trading one of best players in NBA young and in his prime for a injury prone old AD instead of shopping Luka to every team which would have got them minimum 5 first round picks plus all star talent was a bad idea? CRAZY… lol
It’s not luck that Flagg went to Dallas, it’s corruption. They’re doing it right in our faces because they know they can.
I will say this, the Mavs have been doing the tank properly. Or I guess I should say, organically/naturally. They came pretty close, probably about a half left, to surviving the play-in but wound up going to Cabo early. And then it came down to a coin-flip with Chicago. Somehow they landed Cooper Flagg. So yeah, call it a conspiracy if you want…the Mavs didn't seem to be clued in on it & it still came down to a coin flip.
And this year, Dallas has sucked. But the number of clutch games they've been in is WILD!!! They just don't have the talent & depth to close it out or complete a comeback. The NBA can't be hating on how the Mavs are doing the tank. They've given fans of both teams a good game by keeping it within 5 in the last 5 minutes of the 4th.
I guess you could argue that they're "manufacturing" a tank by sitting Kyrie. But Kyrie agreed…there's no reason for him to come back and try to go from 0 to 100. And it's understandable so it's just kinda whatever.
It’s what the owners wanted. Nico got a raw deal
That was a good idea chuck about lowering ticket prices for tanking teams
Ppl going to take one way or the other
As a Wizards fan, thank you Mavs for giving us AD for basically free 🙏
JROSE!!!!!!
Luka never scored 73
I can't tell if Meriam Adelson is more dedicated to bombing Iran and killing Americans or getting this team moved to Las Vegas to profit off of gambling.
Either way, there has to be a solution, perhaps a Final Solution? 🇮🇱
Cooper Flagg isnt that good… 😏👎🏻
Rose still on tv? Ayee
Luka was very clearly not in the best shape and even now having slimmed down doesn’t have the explosive launch he used to but even then you don’t just trade him away after making the finals, even if “players followed the example he set” of not being in shape you make an example, Luka is 1 of 1, role players are a dime a dozen compared to him.
Respectfully … the Luka trade is actually The Worst trade in the HISTORY of the NBA
Remember everyone CHUCK said it was a GOOD TRADE 😂😂 clown show
Why is the audio out of sync with video
I thought he got fired from espn, or laid off
"One of the worst"… it was the worst. The only things that could come close are the awful SGA trade (although that led to LAC getting Kawhi too) and the KG & Pierce trade to Brooklyn.
no tanking soccer they need to relegate some of these franchises
Mavs upgraded their white boy they ain't mad.
I hope that I'm wrong, but Barkley has that look of someone who has cancer.
Great ideas chuck
Chuck you need a new fitted suit…good job brother!! 🎉
Jazz got fined $500,000 for tanking …
nobody will defend Utah … THEY WON THE GAME … then got fined. The coach left the hot hands in the game, and it cost the Jazz a huge penalty ??
I hope you guys dont start complaining when its only the same 3 or 4 teams making the finals every year because that is what is going to happen. Allowing the worst teams to get the best young talent coming out of college is foundational for the competitive balance of fhe NBA and the product of the NBA. If the better teams can also get the best talent, that is the quickest way to kill small market NBA teams. Chuck's ticket price suggestion is fair though.
Tanking ain’t sports. It’s an American style sporting thing. Football/soccer here in the UK, if you do bad you get relegated
we don’t tank in world football. we have relegations. only america sports do the tanking
Let's call it like it is. The NBA promised the Mavs a number 1 pick if they sent Luka to LA because the NBA is a better product when LA is better.
This is what happens when the league traded luka to the lakers. The mavs didn't trade luka. That's why they got coop in the draft he was givin to the mavs. Adam Silver didn't do a very good job of hiding what the nba did. Nico was just the scape goat for the nba. The Lakers have to be relevant when Lebron leaves so they were gifted Luka.
With Chuck on that one….but what's the point of finishing 1st of the league after eighty something games and having no trophy….it definitely encourages tanking too.
Make the first of out of those season games to be called winners of the league and hang a banner…then they go for playoffs as usual ….so then you will have 02 significant trophies every year, one for toping the league table and one for winning the playoffs
Tank in most European sports, and there's this thing called relegation…
America's problem is that this massive country only has 30 NBA teams and 32 NFL teams, all of who are guaranteed to be in the league no matter how badly they are run.
It's welfare for billionaires.
Jalen still dying his hair 😂😂😂😂
man i miss these guys 🙁
They should put a rule that a team who's been in the lottery for 3 years will be ineligible for the lottery pick for the next 3 years. So they can force them to develop their players and actually compete for at least 3 years.
TO STOP THEM from TANKING, make it the best team that didn't make the playoffs have the 1st pick. Like team finished as:
#17 – 1st pick
#18 – 2nd pick, so on until
#29 – 13th pick
last team – 14th pick.
That way, LOSING CULTURE/MENTALITY will NOT be rewarded with high picks.
This way, even on the last few games of the season, teams will still try to win games instead of the usual non-interesting lazy game they do.
Also, teams that almost made the playoffs will have a better chance to make it next year with the addition of high pick good rookies.
It was the worst trade orchestrated by Adam Silver and as a consolation the league rigged the draft and gave the mavs the first pick
Let's not mince around with it. I think it's safe to say that the Luka trade was THE WORST trade in NBA history.
Kenny always finds a way to say the stupidest stuff imaginable
There’s isn’t enough talent to go around to make a significant difference with 30 teams. Solution, let’s expand to 32 teams. 😅
Mavs got Cooper Flagg
He will lead Mavs to championship
Bad trade
But Cooper Flagg is a tremendous replacement
