  1. If the Pistons only win 3 more games than Boston at the end of the season, there's no way Bickerstaff should win COTY over Mazzulla.

  2. Brad finding a replacement for himself that no one knew about that is out pacing his own coaching shows why we say around here "In Brad we trust". At this point, blindly.

  3. coaching is a huge part of it – but so isn't brad, filling every margin of the roster with highly coachable players who fit the system.

  4. Joe should be COTY. Luke Kornet, their 3rd string big also left in FA. Neemi was their 4th string big last year and is starting this year. it has both been a development year and contending year. testament to how good Joe is.

  5. should not go understated the only reason they dont score as many points is because they play slow. slowing down the game and getting more out of every drawn out, long possession than the other team. low TOs open shots, the works

  6. It goes back before Brad Stevens was GM. Wyc Grousbeck and Steve Pagliuca hired Danny Ainge who built the system that Brad who was then coach took over for. The Brad hired Ime Udoka who was a great coach bit not a great fit for the team and brought Joe Mazzula into the system who was later promoted to interim then head coach. I'm so glad that when Wyc Grousbeck had to sell the team he hand picked Bill Chisholm who seems to have the passion and drive to want to see the team continue to succeed.

  7. the big ass captions gotta go, bruh. Unless you making a vertical mobile short or some, just stahp

  8. But of course he won’t win COTY, because of the NBA’S Hatred towards the franchise. I mean I don’t even want sit here and name all the million reasons why he’s easily the COTY. The last time I checked he was third in the COTY Odds, that’s just laughable.

  9. Genius this year because he is finally using his bench. I wasn't a fan his first couple years because he just used the same 6 or 7 guys especially in the playoffs and never used his bench nor did adjustments well. The year they won they had Stan Van Gundy helping but then he went to a booth. But give credit where credit is due he learned well and is finding out that all these players can contribute when called upon and hopefully he will use all in playoffs and keep the minutes down on the J's. Quenta has been the best find of them all

  10. I love that we pretend Ime wasn’t here and didn’t take the Celtics to the finals also lol. Yup. Straight from Brad to Joe. Nothing to see here. Haha

  11. Joe is doing an amazing job. One of the reasons for his success is that the players believe and trust him. He obviously is a great coach as far as system and game planning but player trust in the coach is huge and the Celtics team has that!

  12. Why you got the wrong record in the thumbnail? They’re 41-20. Stop misrepresenting them 🤦‍♂️

  13. Happy belated birthday to Boston Celtics All star JAYSON TATUM who just turned 28 on March 3 GOD BLESS HIM I hope he has a good recovery as he is on his way back

  14. Not a lot of people mention this but in the championship season, Tatum called the bench the, "Stay Ready Squad". Now most of our main role players, (Pritchard, Queta, Hauser and Walsh) were part of that squad. Many media members clowned Tatum for saying that but it almost feels like outside of Tatum and Brown, the rest of the team plays with that mentality of always staying ready. Also credit to coach Mazz for trusting the young guys. Before he, Stevens and Udoka played a really short lineup and guys struggled to get in. Now mainly due to necessity, he is letting the young guys play and grow. Its paying off especially with Queta and Hugo, they are learning so fast.

  15. there’s a lot of data analysis behind the scenes in the boston crltics n they use that for player recruitment too..of course the coach is important but its not his doing at all to start of with,he is just implementing
