NBA CANCELS Magic City Night… Rob Parker Is HEARTBROKEN!
The NBA has officially canceled the Atlanta Hawks’ planned Magic City Night, and Rob Parker is not taking it well.
Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington react to the league pulling the plug on the promotion that would have celebrated Atlanta’s famous Magic City club during a Hawks home game. The event was supposed to include themed food, merchandise, and entertainment tied to the iconic Atlanta venue.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver reportedly stepped in after concerns surfaced about the partnership. The Hawks had initially described Magic City as an “iconic cultural institution” in Atlanta, but the league ultimately decided the promotion didn’t align with its broader image.
Rob Parker is furious, blasting Adam Silver for being a “killjoy” and saying the NBA once again proved it can’t have fun. Kelvin Washington, however, says he’s not shocked the league shut it down, pointing out the NBA is a global brand marketed to families and younger fans.
