I am starting to feel like The Kings are probably going to fire Coach Doug Christie after the season.
That would suck but the offensive system is too 90-ish philosophically and i don't think Gm Perry will be happy with the defensive lapses over and over.
I do think there is a middle compromise between Gm Scott Perry and Coach Doug Christie….
Force a change at lead assistant/offense or bring in a consultant who is known for the pace and space system that is the offense nearly every team uses a version of.
My recommendation is Mike D'Antoni if he has interest.
I am seeing how impactful Jeff Van Gundy has been running The Clipper defense and i think The Kings need something similar on offense.
I don't like the pairing of three 90's style basketball coaches(Christie, Woodson, and Jackson)
Right now the entire focus should be improving the offense while trying to get better on defense.
They have solid offensive players but the offense is stuck in the 90's
