This Isn’t The Same Cleveland Cavaliers…

Since the James Harden trade, Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers have looked like legit NBA contenders.

  1. Tucker, please don't discuss James Harden until the team does something in the playoffs. Harden is a GOAT level guard in the regular season, but we all know his postseason record.

  2. I won't believe Harden will be a team changer until he' proves it in the playoffs. He never has before. And in case you're wondering, Harden has been one of my favorite players to watch in this generation of players. I just understand that he doesn't have that clutch gene in the playoffs. 🇺🇲 🏀

  3. Appreciate you admitting you were wrong here. Curious to see how it all plays out in the postseason. Those will be the key answer on this team. Deepest best version of the Cavs since Lebron left. Could see them making a deep run regardless of the Harden playoff precedence. He hasn't played with a guard love Donovan since prime Russ.

  4. I said this at the time of the trade and I’m saying it again. This team has a 2 year window including this season. Spida has a player option after that and if they continued to see no results, he was going to leave. There are plenty of teams that will have the cap space to sign him including in markets that are much more appealing to a star like LA, Miami, or Brooklyn. This isn’t about shortening the timeline, their timeline is already short. This is the best roster they’ve had in years and have to prove it in the playoffs.

  5. Yes you were wrong indeed. Harden was great in LA, why wouldn't he still be mere weeks and months later? Harden is one of the best pure PG of all time. His vision, passes and creation are not to underestimate. I knew the Cavs would be real contenders after the trade.
