Paolo being hurt helping them and the moment he comes back being the nr 1 again is crazy
They really want to make him to this superstar that he just isnt he has to take a step back
The Desmond Bane trade was not good. It's not the fact that they overpaid or even that Bane is a bad player, he's actually alright. But Bane was not the player they needed. Then they also have had injury issues. Now last season, they also had injury issues, but they were still a decent team. The coach has probably lost the players as well. Just a combination of a bad trade, bad injury luck, bad communication, and probably bad decision making. It's bad all around…
isn't the ownership group of the magic currently trying to actively destroy this country and public education specifically

He has a negative net rating, idk why anyone glazes him hes an inefficient volume shooter that doesn’t play great defense
Clearing out Moseley is definitely the right decision. He, like many defense-first coaches (Thibodeaux, Udoka), hates adjustments, hates talking about scheme, just wants to be able to get up on the podium and say basically nothing but "they need to execute better". He is almost nakedly uninterested in outcoaching anyone. It's not a mystery why some coaches are only 'floor raisers' and expire after ~3 years, the players start raising their expectations, get into the film room after tough important losses, talk to the head coach ……. and realize that he not only doesn't have answers, but isn't INTERESTED in any answer but "you guys need to try harder." And sometimes that isn't even true, sometimes the HC needs to have an f'ing idea.

They are the Sacramento Kings in the East. Can’t shoot nor play defense consistently and the only upside is the growth and youth. They should’ve never traded for Desmond and give all that draft capital to the Grizzlies. They got fleeced down right. Imagine if they kept their picks and got Acuff Jr in this upcoming draft. The spacing is questionable as well. They don’t know who’s getting open or running the play it’s the pass to Banchero or Franz and it’ll work. They really need a point guard to help them facilitate so the offense can flow. Jamal Moseley is a decent coach but when you got a guy like Banchero whos ball dominant with Franz and Desmond combined it’s like the Kings with DeRozan, Zach and Sabonis.

their pieces are good except their #1 guy Banchero and their coach. Replace them both

Come on man, you can't make the Celtics comparisons without acknowledging that it's the coaching that helped it out.
They're at the point where you just can't actually reliably build around Suggs. The same is perhaps true of Franz. And Paolo just sucks.
Disregarding the draft label and "this is the future guy" desigation RJ Barrett had from the Knicks moving on from him, was an emotionally difficult but extremely rewarding move for them. Magic need to do it with Paolo before he becomes immovable.
Banchero, like Barrett, is a solid player, but is a clear #2 who's being treated as a #1 within their org because of their draft position
