The Leaders PUSHED TO THE EDGE | Bayern – Fenerbahçe | R35 BASKETBALL HIGHLIGHTS 2025-26

Bayern snapped its eight-game losing streak against Fenerbahce by beating the Turkish side 85-76 at SAP Garden on Wednesday evening. Having secured its second straight home victory, Bayern improved its record to 15-20. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce lost for the fifth time in the last six games, dropping to 23-12.

The two teams traded blows in the opening stages before a 17-2 surge allowed Bayern to secure a 25-12 lead after 10 minutes. The hosts went on a 10-2 spurt to pull away midway through the second quarter, but Fenerbahce responded with a 0-7 run that cut the difference to 43-30 at halftime. The guests gradually trimmed the deficit to make it a one-possession game (79-76) in the closing stages of the fourth quarter, but a red-hot Justinian Jessup nailed a corner three to seal the outcome.

Neno Dimitrijevic tied his career high in scoring by netting 22 points, with Jessup going 5-for-9 from deep to bag 16 points. Andreas Obst netted 14 points – 11 of which were scored in the first quarter. Tarik Biberovic drained as many as 6 triples for a 21-point tally, but it wasn’t enough for the visiting side.
