In the flow of the game Alpi has to shoot at least 3 3 pointers a game. The opponents give him that opportunity every time. There is no reason why he shouldnt take 3s then he is wide open. Give him 3-4 years and he will be at least a 35 percent 3 point shooter. I dont see a reason why w talk abaout his 3s when he made the game winning shot and was efficent the whole game.
This was a win we’d lose easy and get blown out two months ago. Ime really needs to make sure jaesean don’t leave the bench. If he think he that short on the bench he need to put in unc. An tari keep being ass u can’t let him play to figure it out it’s far to late. Lastly trust Reed to close and let alp shoot 3s we need euro Sengoat out here letting it fly.
I literally prayed right before GS inbounded the ball lol I just knew we were about to lose!
Great team win..gotta learn to increase leads instead of letting teams comeback for nail biting games
We gave up 60 pts on backdoor cuts..we are swept if we get Denver
Tari getting $10m per
Alpy bu berbat takımdan ve hocasından hızla uzaklaşmalı. Onu hakeden rakımda olmalı
Trade Sengun.
Jabari & Amen did damage to the warriors…..Next year hopefully the bench get better players
I am a lifelong Rockets fan, but I will never not be in awe of what Steph Curry can do with the basketball. Truly one of one.
They need Westbrook for that pg roll since nobody signed him
"Oh, one of our only offensively consistent players is being targeted on defense. Better give up!" – Ime Udoka
Man I knew that last shot Bari took was going in
I am sympathetic to Udoka 's defence over offense mentality toward the end of the game but he is just going to have to admit at some point that the team needs Sheppard out there, I know he's a defensive liability but it is clear to me he brings intangibles to the table that they need specifically at the most important times of the game. You have to leave your ideology or philosophy at the door when it comes down to winning games. You have to look at the film and find what works not what you want to work. Early in the season, fine, test it all out and see if you can get what you want out of certain players. At this point in the season you look at this game and have to say taking Reed out was a bad idea. Also, you just can't rely on Tari right now, and I love Tate but Akogi should have had more playing time. We won, so maybe Udoka knew what he was doing, and is still figuring out what works and doesn't work, but when playoffs get here, no doubt I am playing Sheppard as much as possible, and minimizing Tari's role until it is clear his game has turned around. Also, Sengun has got to get his 3 ball working over the off season, it would change everything if he could just hit 33-35% on volume.
How lost do you have to be to think that any of Ime's defensive lineups have won anything this year? His whole rationalization has been actively disproven almost every game.
curry was shimmying when they was down WHY he always do that, this is why u dont celebrate in mid game. curry embarrassed himself what a loser. you lost what is there to celebrate about? i get it when youre up big and know bout to win but to do it when ur down?
Y’all are tripping on the Sengun three-pointer takes. We absolutely need him shooting that shot for this organization to have a chance moving forward. And he needs to be able to take it without thinking his coach is gonna lose his mind for taking an open one.
Mind you not only is this warriors team trash and steph coming off injury and coming off the bench as a 37 yearold but are also missing players on a team that is horrible 😂 this should have been a blow out
Good win that unfortunately exposes our bench yet again, it is quite a shame that all of these injuries and lack of action from the front office will undoubtedly decide our playoff success this year, but let's see.
Jabari was amazing, Amen was great, KD and Alpi were doing their thing in the final frame, so good to see our core unit hitting their high right before the playoffs.
I don’t agree that Alpi's 3s were careless, maybe that 5th three, where the game was getting a bit too contested for comfort, could be considered careless, but other than that I don’t understand the back on forth on this topic. We mention how one of Alpi or Amen need to develop their threes, and Alpi shows the most initiative and skill at this point. He shoots well a couple of games, everyone gets hyped, and then one game he doesn't shoot well but attempts 4 or 5 open threes and misses, everyone immediately starts saying Alpi fell in love with the 3-ball, Ime cusses him out and he stops shootint 3s overall. There needs to be some idea of balance regarding these discussions. Alpi cannot develop 3ball if he doesn't attempt open threes. And again, the 5th three is MAYBE careless, but aside from that, an open three is within the flow of the game.
This is not just an Alpi problem, Ime and a portion of the fandom does this in general with Alpi, Amen and Reed. These guys ended up being tasked with responsibilities that Ime didn't invest in the prior 2 years or even start of the season, whether it is Alpi being a point center, Amen being a facilitator, or Reed being a starter, and while they show improvement in some games, once they make a mistake, we immediately revert back to a limited understanding of these players and their abilities, and reduce their opportunity to develop these skills.
I understand we are contending for a championship, but what is the purpose of betting on young players in the long run if we are not going to allow them some room to develop skills during their formative years when they are still young.
I absolutely disagree when you say Sengun and Amen needs to stop taking wide open threes. Both of these guys are automatic from behind the line in practice, but they lack the composure to make them in game. They just need the reps so they have a percentage where the defense respects them. Otherwise their game impact goes down when they are on the floor with each other or other non shooters.
Amen deserves an all defensive 1st team… Maybe even an all nba 3rd team this year
Hypocrisy on 3 points… W.A.S.
Our kids are winning after all criticism. Please respect.
18:30 I don't agree with your take on Alpys 3's Jackson. Lazy shot? First , it was wild open. Second , he is probably hitting three's last 7 games with %50+ ? Whats so big deal about your franchise player decide to take a shot but your clown ass coach send him to bench with that disgusting look on his dumbass face. Ime does that look everytime Reed makes a simple mistake. Its same look. People glazing and sugarcoating ime always weird to me.
The way Ime threats Alpy is so hypocrite as usual because ive never seen any rockets gets the same bs. Tari was hitting 3s with what %5fg? 5/60? Any words?. Lazy shots? Bari was playing like 5/100 shots and he was playing 42mins daily? You can maybe do that to your rookie player but not 2 time all star franchise player Jackson. Rockets want Alpy to be Jokic as offensive end and Pipen as defensively but doing those things infront of anyone? Telling to interwievers he was always bad since udoka got here? Biggest udoka thing is putting his players under the bus to justify himself. Its not tough love , pure incompetence as a coach.
Anyways good win for rockets DESPITE Ime again and thanks to ALPY saved us losing to a weak 10 seeder..After playoffs only news i wanna hear is Alpy being traded anywhere away from udoka.
Go Rockets ❤🎉❤
Reed stampede… Jackson my girlfriend is gonna want credit for that one
Tate shouldn’t ever be out there in 4th quarter. Especially with senguin and Aman on floor. Thats 0 spacing
why reed not getting minute
I don’t understand why the rockets have a hard time developing homegrown talent. Where are our reeves type player. We can’t develop a role player at any position. This makes it harder for our us to develop a bench
Nobody talks how tari done got trash and he don’t even do his hair no more was up with they guy 1/10 shots
Alperen seneye kaçacak bu takımdan ve siz başka oyunculara bahane bulacaksınız artık
Sengun is on the way to superstar and he is a young player… If Houston loses him, he will not be able to see the play-offs… I am writing here, he will go to Golden State or Lakers in 1 or 2 years… I hope they know his value…
Are you benching Sengun because he missed a 3-pointer in the 4th quarter… Sengun saved your ass so many times… Now I'm sure Udoka is a disrespectful coach and a coward…
tari is unplayable at the moment. his confidence is rock bottom.. anyone have a solution for this?
Jackson you are doing it again. Open wide 3 pointer, nobody moves, stops like a statue, what would he do? I mean he takes 6-7 shots and miss like his TEAMMATES !!! did for 2 months straight then you are right. And also, Udoka's reaction. He better watch himself. Do the same to KD if you could dare. One of two will eventually leave EOS. That's for sure. That was another example despite the win.
Sengun hurts the team when he’s not supposed to be taking shots he doesn’t believe he can make. Alpi tends to take soft shots like that when he doesn’t have confidence. A franchise player can’t play like that. He’s hurts the team with that mindset. Soft player.
