    I agree about Yaxel. He's as complete a player as their is in this draft. While I don't think he's a star he's a plus role player and gives you the flexibility to deal Washington for point guard help imho. With our 2nd pick I like Veesar, Chinyleu or Reed. Veesar's game compliments LIvely and Cisse's game in that he offers some other skills, Chinyleu is a lot like Cisse' and I think that is a good thing, and Reed reminds me of a taller Popeye Jones with an inside game. I really like his game.

    I’d rather trade out of the pick than take Aday.
    If someone wants him that bad, like OKC, then I’m sure we can come to an accommodation lol.

    I love Linderborg also Harris but im not to sure he would look so dominant in the NBA hes an anomaly in college in the NBA hes like 90% of the players.. To many big fast players like P.J. example..You agree or am i wrong? Watching you from the Philippines. Midnight here and your keeping me awake LOL

    I think Mara is a very good prospect and he will translate to the NBA. I'd bet good money that he will even become a decent shooter at some point in his career.

    He defends the zone very well, can score with both hands, great passing, moves well for how big he is, finishes strong.

    Tankathon's Big Board ranks Mara 27th. He's more likely to go for our late 1st than our lotto pick. And if we get him down there I'd be thrilled.

    For me its between him and reed from UCONN for our 30th pick, a young quality backup/starter when lively sits and hes cheap compared to gafford who more than likely is going to get traded.

    Mara can stuff the middle, but against other centers like Hartenstein and Holmgren, all they are going to do is go out to the three-point line and shoot, or pull him out of the middle. Playing zone in college is not the same as playing in the NBA.

    As a Spaniard, Mara is awesome but yes, 1st pick absolutely no, 30th?? Without a doubt. Trade Gaff, resign Bagley and have a rotation of DLive-Mara-Bagley. On the other hand there's no way Yaxel falls to 30th though but it would be a no-brainer pick.

    There are only 4,000 people in the entire world who are 7 feet or taller. Half of those people have major ailments and can barely move. You aren't going to find many who can match Wemby in size. With the second pick, I would absolutely take Mara. It is worth a shot, but Dallas has a lot of holes to fill. Basketball is the one sport where you really have to hit the genetic lottery. Most average fans have no clue how big these guys are in person. It is often not the height that gets you, but the width of players.
