Do you think the Nets should extend Noah Clowney this summer? If so, what contract would you offer him?
hes a bench 4 at this point id keep him around but would still look to upgrade the position
would love to get either AJ, or Boozer at that starting spot depending on where we are drafting, move clowney to the bench role
Noah Clowney is a BENCH guy especially when he had a chance to keep the starting power forward job and unfortunately he did not deliver đ§….
no, trade or get rid of him, he doesnt defend or rebound and is inconsistent on offense.
Clowney and Jalen Wilson were both drafted by Brooklyn in 2023. Clowney was drafted 21st, Wilson 51st. Wilson has 3.3 WS. Clowney has 2.5 WS.
I'd say he was below average/ not as good as you would've wanted him to be. His defense has gone down the tubes and he's one of the worst rebounders in the league as far as guys 6'9 or taller. No way
Noah will be going into his 4th season, just like Nic was when he got his deal. But Nic was a way better player in his 3rd season than Clowney was this year. Nic had a .674 eFG% while Clowney's is .498. Nic had 0.5 BPM and 0.6 VORP. Clowney has -3.4 BPM and -0.6 VORP. I would offer him 2 years $10 mil.
I think you gotta find a trade for Clowney. His offense is very inconsistent and his rebounding is not that good.
I think Clowney has a lot of upside if he keeps trending upwards every year. I was lower on Clowney last year than this year. It will be interesting to see if that improvement trend continues and how his role will look most likely off the bench on a team trying to compete

Yaxel Lendeborg was one of the winners in the tournament that boosted his draft positioning. The biggest winner was Tarris Reed, Jr. who will have a chance to be the first big man selected along with Aday Mara.
Yaxel was a guy that had a chance to drop into the 2nd round prior to the tournament to now a certain 1st round pick. Congrats to him and the Wolverines. They won decisively the entire tournament. That Arizona win was very impressive!
At this point I'd say he's more of a sf then pf
Definitely Noah clowney should get that extension but Jalen wilson you can kick him to the curb adios Arrivederci!!
