let's just take a breath and remember that yes, OKC lost to SA this season. But 2 of those losses came on the 2nd game of a back-to-back for OKC… (6 of their 18 losses this season have been on the 2nd game of a back-to-back)
And the Wolves also beat OKC twice, and the Hornets also throttled OKC this season,
And OKC has only played about 18 games this season with their actual starting 5.
They have the deepest team in the league, their top players contractuallly locked up, youth, draft capital, and already won a championshp…
What have the Spurs got compared to that?
I mean the celtics should be mentioned in this conversation too. They have one and if they can get 2 more with the jays thats a dynasty

Ok brou, what r we doing. The thunder have won a chip have actual playoff experience and r proven. The spurs havent even played in a playoff game yet. Now they are a great team and have a chance at knovking off okc but still okc is already way ahead of the spurs schedule
Too early to call the defending champs and 3-time-in-a-row western conference #1 seed a budding dynasty, but the Spurs ARE a dynasty before winning a playoff series….got it.

So OKC isn’t a dynasty and he’s not even thinking about them and dynasty but the spurs is on dynasty watch and we aren’t sure if wemby can survive the playoffs.
I can see the thunder ripping off 2 more in the next 3 years. They are young, and play such a great team basketball. Reminds me of those young warriors, but the talent is spread across more players. Maybe not quite as good individually. If Wemby gets hurt, OKC has an even better chance. Nobody his size has had a long and healthy career.
OKC has had the #1 record in the league for 3 straight years and they're still one of the youngest teams in the NBA. They just won the chip & Are expected to go back to back with SGA going back to back MVPs. Sorry but saying Shai & OKC just hasn't shown you the signs of a future dynasty but Wemby & The Spurs who haven't even played a SINGLE playoff game yet have is straight ridiculous lol

So the team that won already, has the reigning MVP, is the 1 seed, and already has their young core under contract for the foreseeable future isn't in dynasty watch, but the team that has no MVP (yet), has not won, and has no playoff experience, is on dynasty watch???
The correct answer is they are both on dynasty watch. It will be like Tim Duncan spurs vs Shaq and Kobe lakers all over again. 5+ rings will be won by both teams in the next 5-7 years most likely if healthy

Before Jordan & the Bulls became a dynasty, it was the same as now.. no one really believe they could be a dynasty since it was Big Man's league-era at that time. Hoping to see that day when OKC Thunder prove otherwise.. especially the way they always overlooked the Thunder every season. Though they speak highly for Thunder on the surface, but I feel they don't really like OKC Thunder and don't have that high expectations to them just because the up and coming Spurs had the ‘Alien’ Wemby.. not knowing how dangerous a killer like SGA who had the same intensity and drive like MJ & Kobe could be.
