Not the Bulls responsibility to "support" Ivy, he was barely employed by the team. If you want to place blame/responsibility it would be his previous team or maybe he has some personal responsibility to become a better person.

Jaden's comments were inappropriate concerning the NBA. Kyrie Irving's comments were inappropriate for the NBA. Mark Jackson's comments are inappropriate for the NBA. Ja Morant with a firearm is inappropriate for the NBA. Steve Kerr's comments are appropriate for the NBA. LeBron James comments are appropriate for the NBA. BLM, the ADL, LGBTQ is appropriate for the NBA. You don't have to be a genius to see what is going on with the NBA. If Ivey were say an MMA fighter or tennis player he'd still be active today because as said, free speech. And his words while blunt were not hateful, violent, or threatening. But he signed a contract to play in the NBA. A league that is in business with organizations, other businesses, and entities that influence Adam Silver and the league from the outside. For whatever reason Silver has allowed this to happen. My guess is its money first, of course. Its business partners second, fans last. Ivey was reckless with his words and as an employee of an NBA franchised team was let go. His calling out of fellow NBA players did not help. Otherwise if a person is honest, Ivey seems unsteady but on a good path. He has work to do but has for now cleaned up his life through his faith. Thats a big part of this story. And he's not the first person of faith in recent memory to be taken to task by the NBA and its partners. Kyrie Irving. He converted to Islam in 2021, recommended a MOVIE, and the NBA and ADL went nuts. In short, the NBA is a corrupt, politically driven, professional sports league. If it weren't corrupt it would allow ALL its players to express themselves reasonably even if some disagree with them. Two Black men of faith had to take a whipping for getting out of line, while the NBA supports some of the most corrupt, divisive, and culturally bankrupt entities in America today that have nothing to do with basketball. And will encourage its player, coaches, and employees to enthusiastically do the same, while silencing others for being more independent. Whatever you think of Ivey or Irving, and whatever your politics, those are the realities of being a player in the NBA. It's dance for the man, get paid and like it, or shut up and dribble. Fair enough, I suppose. But what a crock of chit.

Jaden Ivey was released for lack of productivity accompying beliefs the league does not align with. If Ivey was averaging 22/7/5 on 50/40/90 splits, he'd still have a roster spot. Unfortunately the NBA is a business and promotes money over care for consumers which is evident with the mass sports betting advertising going into the sport, any person with a brain would realize how massive of a conflict of interest that is. This is why sports should spend more into investing into the sport itself oppose to the players, because when you become a player centric league, people care too much about what these guys think or do. If Jaden Ivey was a nascar driver nobody would care what the fuck he thinks and all his hard work and dedication would not be stripped based on his beliefs.
