STATEMENT: Orlando Magic’s Paolo Banchero Faces PRESSURE to Elevate Game in Playoff Push

All eyes have been on Paolo Banchero the entire season. He has been the center of criticism and frustration throughout the season. Banchero has still had a season that is statistically similar to his 2024 All-Star season.

Some of the criticism is warranted as the young player continues to grow. But he still has the chance to make his statement as the Magic prepare for the postseason.

Banchero is starting to play better and has made some important progress. And Banchero still has a lot to contribute to the team’s playoff push.

There will be no avoiding big questions this offseason after a disappointing season. But if the Magic are truly better simply by being healthy, then the Banchero and Franz Wagner pairing will lead the Magic further this postseason.
