The Boston Celtics fell to the New York Knicks 112-106 on Thursday night, as New York stayed alive in the race for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.

After the game, Payton Pritchard addressed the possibility of the #Celtics facing the #Knicks in the second round:

“Obviously we got to take care of the first round first. If we see them again. We’ll be ready.”

    what happened? JT did about everything he could to give the game away for the final seven minutes. baylor pulled his ass out of the fire several times. in the end JT was just too determined to lose.

    three timeouts down the stretch and never took the ball out JTs hands. never made him use the sets and his teammates. just let him waste clock leading up to desperation shots. all of his bad habits resurfaced in this one and its very scary to see heading into the playoffs. the man is not a leader and definitely not a closer. hes lowkey the biggest egomaniac in the league. see his stupid pre-tip routine he puts on for the cameras. see how he sits alone during timeouts. see how he cares more about winning with the ball in his hands than winning in general. see how he had a big smile on his face as the final buzzer sounded. see how hes the only Celtic in his tenure that hasnt sacrificed shit for the betterment of the team.
    the last five games got my hopes up. he played within the offense, he cut back on the moving jumpers. his tempo was good. he moved the ball and acted quickly when he didnt. tonight tempered the hell out of those hopes. if he decided he wants to take over, he answers to no1. problem is it seems that hes completely unaware of the fact that his style of play in those moments absolutely sucks. always has.
