I agree with Perk that the pressure is on KD to at least get to the Western conference finals and play his best basketball. Next year with a solid point guard. We can then talk about winning it all.

With Edgecombe and Maxey ascending, I think it's time to cut the chord on Embid and trade him when he gets back. You cant rely on him and Detroit got ALOT better this year, Tatum and Brown arent going anywhere in Boston, Cavs could surprise us with Harden and the Knicks are competitive.
I'm a huge Embiid hater but I feel bad for the guy here.
I'm wondering if he'll actually be able to make it in time for the playoffs. If it takes 4 weeks for him to return that means he'll miss the first round. And we can't even guarantee they'll make it out the play-in

KD has missed 3 games this season, averages the 2nd most minutes in the league, avg 26 ppg on 50/40/88 splits and good defense all at 37 years old. Like pls STFU

He was just completely overweight with Joel Embiid is and can’t control his weight. Derrick Rose, even though he bounced back and was never the same player. Jabari Parker, who was never the same player after two ACL surgeries. this is literally the category that Joel Embiid goes in unfortunately

There is a lot to this IMO, when was this appendicitis diagnosed, it should have been done while performing the other injuries procedures when he was out! I’m not a 6er, but I’m tired of Joel being in for injury reasons. That being said, my prayers to him for a speedy recovery
