Raptors need to lock in
It feels like so many teams are tanking for position.
I mean does it really matter at this point ? Both Boston and Cavs will have us playing golf with Leafs in the first round either way.

The 3 way tie rule is just so annoying, like why do divisons determine it and not h2h matchups first
I honestly don’t care if the Raptors play the Knicks. It’s a good measuring stick. The goal should be to get to Game 6 or at least Game 5. And if the Raptors get swept it could force Webster to be more aggressive or a sweep could motivate the team in the offseason. In hindsight, the Raptors getting swept in 2015 and 2017 and 2018 resulted in a better season the following year each time
Good for AJ. He deserves to be on an NBA roster next season. Hopefully it's as a Raptor.
The Raptors should hang a banner if they can win a game against the Knicks should they face them in the playoffs.

I think we are in a good spot.
Heat want to win for a chance to get the 9th seed.
Atlanta for whatever reason has a long list on injury list giving Miami a good chance to win.
Raptors just need to win to secure 6th seed and we are playing deflated nets
If raptors win and hawks lose we get the 5th seed
i see it like this way, raptors play cavs, or knicks, or celtics, its like picking between an ass whooping with a thick leather belt with a big metal buckle, a lead pipe or a baseball bat with nails in it. the end result will be the same. they gonna double ingram, put the raptors into the half court and plug the paint and its gonna be a brick fest.
we even saw this with a more talented team with siakam, og and fred.
and jakob poeltl is gonna be playing in a wheel chair the way its looking.
That Kings loss was a killer. They're 2-1 against Orlando so who cares if they're tied in the standings. They win the tie breaker.

That Magic game only screws us if we lose anyway so just dont lose to the damn Nets and we should be fine it sucks it came to this if only there was a bad team we could have beaten last week or so to not be in this spot
@benrogers always look at the bright side of things. if raptors lose and get bounced in play in, its probably the best thing for their long term future. they will get a late lottery pick with a small chance of picking higher. and in a deep strong draft, it could be a cheap foundational piece for next year.
with the pacers and wizards in the playoff picture, and RJ likely gone for a down grade and a 1st, the raptors likely a borderline play in team again next season in a stronger east. so its for the best raptors have the option to pick higher so they have a choice. having the option of a higher pick in a strong draft is never a bad thing.
its not like scottie barnes is gonna turn into a giannis because he got swept in the 1st round. he is slow and not that type of player. he isnt a number one or two scoring option. he is like a 3rd scoring option maybe 5-8 games a season and is a 4th to 8th option for the rest of the season. just look at the last 12 games for sb. people make excuses he is tired. but giannis put up 30ppg while playing like a dpoy. giannis didnt get tired and his offensive output drop to 18ppg for season.
we just gotta face that reality. sb is a good defensive player like og anunoby, but at the end of the day, he is a role player as a starter.
sb as your number 1 scoring option would put you in the lottery basically is what i am saying. its his 5th season now so we have to accept reality for what it is. cant do the og thing where fans were saying given enough time after the age of 26, og will turn into kawhi leonard one day.
@benrogers also consider with a higher pick in later lottery with a small chance at a higher pick even. we can end up possibly getting a player like jalen johnson who is putting 22.5ppg with 10.3 rebounds, 7.9 assists, and 1.2 steals a game shooting 35 percent from 3. he is a 3 level scorer. now that would be franchise altering. and he doing this while making 30 million a year only.
We were screwed the moment we fired Masai. This organization is one of the worst. This organization knows how to manipulate the fans to sell them tickets.
