  1. If Giannis wanted to compete for championships he should have kept his mouth shut from the beginning.
He pushed for the Lillard trade and they damn near gave up everything to appease his wishes.

  2. I agree with Justin 100%. If Giannis wants to stay it will be through a rebuild. There is no short term fix and hopefully the Bucks will keep their picks and try to get more. If he wants to be part of that great. If not then the path is clear.

  3. If Gianni's has to go, trade him to whoever has a top 3 pick this year. And a few more over the next couple years. Even if it's the Wizards or Pacers. Both those teams become very good with him. The Bucks get a top pick this year and their own current probable top 10 this year. Then build with those other picks over the next couple years.

*I still hope there's a way to keep GA though and be semi competitive.

  4. Justin, you're largely acting as if the organization is squeaky clean. Clearly they are not. I agree both parties are complicit here. I do NOT believe there was every an explicit trade REQUEST, but instead trade exploration. Giannis, seeing the direction the org decided to take–TANK–conversed with org reps (or his agent did so) and the trade exploration began. That's different than explicitly stating "I want to be traded now." We are still waiting on that highly coveted statement and it appears Justin, like most Bucks fans are eager to see him go.

Meanwhile, what he says to local reporters is clearly not curated. If it were, he wouldn't be saying all the wrong things and alienating his fanbase. He wanted to be a one franchise legend. The bucks decided they'd rather rebuild. No acquiring anybody and going into the tax. The want to "develop" 25-27 year old players who never had play time (and Rollins), and they are ready to rebuild. It's essentially the exact same scenario Lillard faced–except Lillard missed the opportunity to win one. Giannis wants to win, and wants a coaching change. The Bucks want to lose and "develop players" (this part confuses me because there are only 2 rostered young players) and retain Rivers.

They were misaligned on what was best for the season. Giannis doesn't want to waste a way his health and career feeling obligated to carry some two-way and former g-league players to the play in. Fair. I understand it is what it is, but I'm not looking forward to decades of mediocrity and irrelevancy.

  5. I believe they low ball Giannis on the contract extension so he'll be more willing to be traded ,they are in rebuilding mode and Giannis wants no part in it…i think he didn't prepare himself for the break up.

  6. I’m a Bucks fan and I’m very realistic

I know people did not like when they hired Adrian, however

This thing changed the moment that he tried to check and for good reason, his best players defensive effort which has declined dramatically over the last four years, and Giannis got him fired

And the reason why I say that is because they were a good team that just wasn’t used to his coaching, but your best sets the tone – then why did they not buy in when your second in the east? If you are a professional at anything, everything does not go your way, but we’re doing something correctly. We gotta get this thing figured out.

Also, you don’t have to always listen to him if you know better

This is a mess burn it down look right in the face and say we’re sitting you down and we’re trading you and I love him as a player but he’s not the same guy and that’s OK. You don’t get to live on what you did five years ago.

  7. I dont care if they trade Giannis or not just don't trade 1st round picks to keep Giannis . John Horst need to Draft new stars in Draft or be replaced his 1st rd picks record is not good

  8. We Gotta Stop giving Giannis the benefit of Doubt, he asked out an this summer he will do the same he dont care about the 275 yal just face it, lets find us another star! Its Time! Go Bucks

  9. My biggest fear for this team is the front office entering the offseason still trying to build a contender waiting for October and the Giannis obviously not re signing. A reset is needed whether Giannis stays or goes, we can’t attack the offseason with contender mentality.

  10. You are too negative about the team . Most of the problems this year are coaching and injuries . You cannot have your best players not playing together and expect to still succeed long term over a season . We have two talented guards , a couple decent centers a talented young forward and some good trade options . We have a top draft choice it will be better next season .

  11. Doc should have been fire 30 games ago. The bucks have no idea what they are doing.

  12. Perhaps I am not the only one who noticed this: Camille has mastered the art of making her strong points without offending neither parties. What a mediatic quality to possess 😯✨👌🏽👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

  13. I think it’s time to let Giannis go somewhere to compete. I think the bucks need a complete refresh honestly, including our GM. The Dame wave and stretch and failing miserably should lead to Horst being fired. I’m happy Giannis won a chip with the bucks though. Just a really disappointing season all around.

  14. There’s no reason to continue to tank. The team is pretty much locked into its draft position so what exactly is there to gain from sitting him or not trying to win out? Only team that can be caught is the Bulls which would take the Bulls going like 4-0 (which that ain’t happening lol) and the bucks losing out . Better to try to repair the breach
