  1. raptors have the advantage in wing play, but cavs have the advantage in guard play, and back court, as well as 3 pt shooting, and half court offence. say what you may about harden, but he picked the raptors apart in the 76ers playoff series, slowing the game down and hunting mismatches in size and defensive liabilities.

experience in playoffs is not even close. and in terms of coaches between atkinson and darko, i dont think its close either because of the experience gap, and how darko adjusts slow and basically dies on his game plan.

also raptors have no one to guard mitchell, and he will be putting up 50 balls. anyone you put on mitchell will be at big risk of getting into foul trouble.

the rubber meets the road, there will be no excuses for not showing up. data points for bobby on who is a keeper or not for those who have contracts coming up this summer or after next season.

will impact the raptors draft as well on what holes they need to plug.

and lastly, it likely raises RJ's trade value if they are wanting to trade him, as he has shown it doesnt matter what game, he has no fear, he is aggressive, and can handle physicality and keeps attacking or shooting.

it will likely also impact whether ingram gets an extension next year, as playoffs next year is gonna be harder with wizards and pacers back in the picture.

allen is gonna put a dress on poeltl with his back issues and not being able to move or rebound.

  2. @es how do the raptors do next season with wizards and pacers and hornets back in the playoff picture. especially if rj gone and they didnt get an upgrade because rogers wont pay the tax, and teams were willing only to give a 1st and expiring and filler after a good rj playoffs?

it think its gonna be much different next season because its a weak east this year, versus a strong east next year.

nets dont have their pick next year either, so they cant tank. so we may see the magic of playoff jordy.

  3. As a Cavs fan thank you for some in depth Flim I love seeing things from an opponent perspective too peace and love always

  4. Raptors are about to do D-Wade’s legacy a favour and make ppl realize there are two sides to this game.

  5. The Raptors, had a winning season, get at least four playoff games worth of experience for players and staff and have confirmed the talent they have and what they don't. This was all that the team actually wanted the start of last fall. Last night was likely the last time we see Gradey Dick score for the Raptors, sadly a wasted lottery pick which this team's quick rebuild simply couldn't afford. Enjoy this playoff round.

  6. Problem in the series is gonna be Darko doesn’t adjust his game plan and lineup and just dies on what he does first. Darko will be like Dwayne Casey in the past on not doing good adjustments. If he was smart he’d play Jackson Davis in the series. We need a guy getting second chance Rebounds against Mobley and Jarrett. I hope Barnes doesn’t turn out to be like Derozan and just become weak and chokes. It’s gonna be an interesting series.

  7. TEL OG
Something very funny, you would not find X beside "Raptors" in the Y A ho o site like all the other teams who reached the playoff.
    That tells you alot.

  8. I am no Cavaliers fan but I acknowledge that James Harden is more rested for this playoff series. Harden hasn't been taxed enough this season so he is a hugh X factor. I wouldn't take his previous playoff failures in to account here. It's too early.

  9. 4 keys to beating the Cavs:

    1) They're slow footed and older – RUN-RUN-RUN they're a$$es off! 1st in the NBA for FBP… use it as a we@pon!

    2) Win the battle of defense – Raps (5) and Cavs (8) in defensive rating. Be the bigger team, let them be the tallest.

    3) Pass the ball – Raps tops in the NBA in assists, pass-ratings. Again, use it as a we@pon!

    4) NEED that bench – Walter, Shaed, Mamu, CMB – WIN THE BENCH GAME. Must score, REBOUND, do the little things to disrupt. There is no reason why that 4 can't be better than the Cavs first 4 reserves. And don't be afraid Darko to use Lawson, Jackson, Battle (who sank 3's like a queen vs. the Cavs Oct. 31st), be open to what wins.

  10. 13:38 you let the Cavs try that. Also, CMB can make it difficult for ball handlers get, shoot or pass over the top. Lobs may be off target or snatched out of the air.

  11. RJ Barrett will be the deciding factor of this series … they’ll take away BI and Scottie. RJ will rise

  12. Someone get James Harden to the Downer, Brass Rail and Zanzibar STAT!! 😂

  13. imo , I think they are an elite 3&D and 7'0 floor spacing big (possibly both bench guys) away from a really good team.
