X-FACTOR: Franz Wagner Needs to SHINE for Orlando Magic against 76ers in Play-In battle

The Orlando Magic have an extra day to prepare for the Philadelphia 76ers in the Play-In Tournament as the stakes have raised with the postseason’s arrival.

No player probably means more and will have a bigger say in the Magic’s postseason future than Franz Wagner. Since returning from injury, he has put up solid numbers in limited minutes. The Magic need to maximize his minutes and hope he can continue to do more as the postseason wears on. The Magic’s best bet is to get the most from Wagner and his minutes.

To win their Play-In game, the Magic will not only need a good showing from Wagner, they will need to control the possessions in the game. Orlando has been turning the ball over a ton even during their win streak. And their game on Wednesday will come down to whether they can protect the ball and gain extra possessions on the offensive glass.
