The Knicks looked like the worse team at time and we still got the best record in a long time!
Knicks are not consistent and they don't do well against .500 plus teams. Scoring is not balanced. Hart, Bridges and Kat often take very few shots and go long periods without scoring. They often fall far behind early in the game by double digits. They still have games where they can't defend the 3. They need Alvarado's defense very badly but he doesn't get in the game early enough. Atlanta is a hot team. They had an incredible turnaround this season like the Hornets. It should be a close hard-fought series.
When its just Towns at the center we leave wide open shooters all over the court. When you have 2 centers that drop back you will see more wide open shots. Coach Brown does not want to switch, so now the Hawks will have multiple chances to set picks and continue to get open shots. If the Hawks miss, the 2 big lineup looks amazing, because we have the size to rebound. But if guys catch fire and get confident shooting, there is a chance we can lose the series. We are so inconsistent shooting the ball, I just dont feel confident we can play that bad defensively and offensively and still win games.
