I liked the last sentence, not because Danny can be the best player on the court, but mainly because most commentators really think Phoenix will win mainly thanks to Booker. With Portland it's more complicated – Danny is good, Donovan is good. When Danny draws players to the basket with him, and misses, Donovan often closes for the rebound. And the moment Danny manages to turn Donovan into a shooter (three or hook), Donovan becomes a twenty-point player. If Danny has a lot of assists, it means that he has an offensive camera in the game, which is broadcast in the game. And if Danny has a ratio of 2.5 assists per turnover, then there is a chance that Danny is the best player on the court.
If Grant plays he and Shae should come off the bench.

I think that playoff experience makes a difference here. Booker has been to the finals, Brooks has multiple years of experience, and a few others at least got a taste of a series I believe but I could be all mixed up. Meanwhile Jrue is the only Blazer starter with any playoff experience if I remember right? Jerami has been there, but it’s also been 5 years since he played in April at all.
With that wide of a gap and playing in Phoenix, I think it would be incredibly impressive and gritty to see them take it. Surprised it’s only a 3.5 spread
