Flagg is the better all around player, but Knueppel had the better and more impactful season .
But they'll still give ROTY to Flagg even tho the Mavericks are ELIMINATED from playoff contention.

Kon is a phenomenal shooter, but he is also a really solid ball handler and finisher. He plays like a lite version of Luka, which is really high praise. Doesnโt quite have the same speed control and playmaking that Luka had at this age, but he is strong and really crafty as a scorer. Really exciting stuff going on in Charlotte!

Does this mean Keegan Murray also had one of the most historic rookie seasons ever? No disrespect, but I had never heard of him before Kon broke his record.
Rookies are talking more 3s than ever because the entire game has shifted to teams shooting 40-50 threes a game in the past decade. That doesn't make their performances historic, because you can't compare them to guys that were shooting 2 threes per game and because they didn't change the paradigm on their own merit, they simply walk in the wake of Steph and Klay.
