Brunson doesn’t play winning team basketball in the playoffs tho, he gets his stats, but there’s too many isos and he gives up a lot defensively to push them over imo. Lotta players like him where the regular season is the peak.

Very disrespectful to Patrick Ewing, Clyde Frazier and Willis Reed. Just because you shoot a lot of shots it shouldn't make you the greatest player in a team 's history. There should be much more to it than that.
I like Brunson but he has a bad habit of trying to do everything by himself. He has 20 games this season with 4 or less assists but with all that the Knicks gave up for KAT, OG and Bridges he should be averaging 10+ assists per game. I don't expect them to even make it to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Willis Reed period
Going to finals in the weak east is equal to 1st rd western conference. Winning the east is not impressive when you look at those 1st rd matchups out west

Ewing, Frazier, Reed are definitely better as of now. Brunson needs another 3 years of his prime in NY to compete with those guys for all-time Knick. You could argue Brunson is top 5 Knick all time. He’s already up there with King and Melo.
