At real-time speed, he could just be pulling his arm down out of frustration for a no call. I don't know too many people who leave their arm up above their head. It is unnatural. You pull your arm down so you can get up.

Not defending Melo, but Bam was going to fall one way or the other and he never looked like he had balance. It sure looks like he swiped his arm purposefully, but also, that kind of looks like a natural motion. Saying someone should be ejected for an ambiguous play is a pretty big statement. But, it should have at least been reviewed as a flagrant.

It did not look like that Bam was tripped by Ball. To me it looks like that Ball hit Bam's leg as he was falling down.
Man, slow-mo makes things WAY easier to see, but I still don't personally see any ill intent on the play, personally. He came down pretty hard, and was in one of the biggest games of his life, so he was scrambling to get his bearings.

Look i’m not saying what LaMelo did was right obviously that was messed up and as a heat fan, I was pretty upset, but we also have to all agree that the Hornets are just the more exciting team. The league clearly wanted to see them win, they’ve been on a serious uptick since January and at the end of the day we all know they won’t even make it out of the first round IF they even make it through. I’m letting this one go.
