That’s a wrap on The Bounce 🎬 #dallasmavericks #nba #basketball #podcast
On this episode of The Bounce, Austyn Iven, King McClure, and Will Iger reflect on the Mavericks’ season and share their biggest takeaways. Then, they head to the film room to break down Ryan Nembhard’s historic 23‑assist performance against the Chicago Bulls. Looking ahead, they preview the 2026 NBA Draft and discuss which guard would be the best fit alongside Cooper Flagg. To close the show, the crew projects Flagg’s future, predicting when he could win Defensive Player of the Year, earn First Team All‑NBA honors, and eventually capture the league MVP award.

COWBOYS 🤠 SUPERBOWL NEXT YEAR 🎉
Kyrie + this squad + whoever they draft will be scary as hell next season! You can count on that! Anyone who thinks the Mavs are trash now is gonna have a big surprise coming 😂
Can't wait till next season. It's gonna be a long summer. We already have all the pieces. Add a lottery pick, (Caleb Martin 🙏🏽), and a healthy Ky and Live we're not just a play-in team, but we finish top 6. Crazy championship experience with Klay, Kyrie, Middleton, and Kidd. Add the Finals experience from 2 years ago and we are a real threat. I don't care what anybody says.
In 2023 Paolo Banchero won RoTY and his team did not make the playoffs. He easily beat out Keegan Murray who not only had the 3 point rookie record but Keegan’s team made the playoffs not play-ins and was way more efficient in shooting than Paolo and best him in way more head to head categories. Keegan finished 5th in RoTY voting that year, please explain why 3 years later they now changed the rules?
