I don't like the foul baiter narrative. He is getting fouls on his way to the rim. Maybe he isn't a top 5 player in the league, but as a consistent shooter he is probably top 10. If he is able to hit midrange reliably then he is top 5. Right now he seems like a difinitive #1 on a playoff team.

Avdija is a freight train. The only way you can stop him is by a foul. That's why he goes to the FT line that much.
People don't realize that getting to the rim like he does requires a lot of skill, athleticism, and basketball IQ.
The defense is super focused on him and throws double team at him, leaving a blazer unattended.
Avdija takes advantage of that and immidiately passes the ball to the free guy. That's why he has so many assists as well.
Avdija gets real contact real physicality by multiple defenders its not caress like SGA etc
