  1. 3 playoffs in a row disrespect is crazy…….specially towards edwards who's ranked only #21 for most impactful player in the Playoffs via NBA

  2. One team is 9-10 in their last 19 heading into the playoffs, the other team is 12-0. One team is currently healthy, one is not. One team has beaten the other 3-1 this season. Is it really a surprise to see one is favored over the other?

  3. Bro its simple. Ant got injured, and he got fat. Or too skinny. I heard reports going either way. His knee is full of puss. Jayden is crying when he walks. Julius was just happy to make it to the WCF last year. What do you expect? Timberwolves are DONE.

  4. The other thing is the depth, there has been a lot of signs that the bench players are improving a lot. This plays a part in this as much as the starting players for the Wolves.

  5. Ant admitted he was completely gassed for the western conference finals the last 2 years. I think they rested him and Jaden for the whole month knowing they were going to avoid the play in.

  6. As a wolves fan there have been flashes this season that leave me to believe that when playing their best, this team might be better than the best version of any other team in the league.

But they havent consistently played with that level of intensity and chemistry.

I once heard some broadcaster say the dofference between good and great is consistency.

They have top talent. They have depth. They have demonstrated they can turn it up in the playoffs. There is real potential for them to make a run for it all this year. But it is totally fair for outsiders to doubt them based on their inconsistency, injuries, and chemistry issues throughout the season.

  7. Let's be honest every Minnesota team gets disrespected by the media and are the "underdogs", so this isn't new this T-Wolves team is built for adversity. Ant-man, Batman, Iron Man Wolves in 5.

  8. Every time ESPN voters have voted against us in the playoffs and every time we've proved them wrong

  9. I agree , tight analysis, I think rhis is one of those series without a clean answer.

Denver still has the most reliable offense. Everything runs through Nikola Jokić, and late game you trust him and Jamal Murray to execute.

Minnesota was built for this matchup.

    They have:
    • multiple defenders for Murray: Jaden McDaniels, Anthony Edwards, and a secondary guard rotation
    • size and length across the floor
    • lineup flexibility
    • enough secondary creation to keep the offense moving

    The swing is behind Edwards:
    • Julius Randle making quick decisions
    • McDaniels hitting open shots

If that’s working, Denver runs out of clean defensive answers.

    So it comes down to:
    • First three quarters → Minnesota controls with pressure and defense
    • Late game → Denver executes better than anyone

Slight edge to Minnesota—not because they’re better, but because they have more ways to make Denver uncomfortable over a series.

  10. without Watson, Denver doesn't have the defenders to slow down ANT and give him fits. we have Jaden McDaniels, and also our secret weapon, Terrance Shannon.
