Lebron can take less but paying Reeves 40 million would be a mistake

If LeBron the greatest point forward ever, after the work he puts in every year to stay in insane shape used his last year to have his fans watch him screen and roll for Luka and Austin on a massive paycut instead of going to a team that’d be a better fit with a better roster. He deserves to end his career without another ring. This FO punted multiple seasons away. Giving them another chance is insanity.
Lets go aspiration route.
They need high level defense to cover up for Luka and AR, overpaying for LeBron is not a good idea for winning. But if they only care about jersey sales than yeah may as well waste another season of Luka's prime on an aging declining player who doesn't play defense.

why do these lakers FO stink analysis never include caruso and reeves? reeves alone, a top 20 player they got for free as a fa, that 29 teams passed on, probably outweighs every mid-late 1st rd pick of the lakers supposedly missed for the last 5-10 yrs. those are two of the biggest hits of a scouting dept of all time.
